Spring from shifter

Can anybody tell me wheee this goes inside my shifter it was laying loose when I opened the console 2007 Lincoln shorty two whee dr and a terrible 5.3

Looks like the spring that holds the console lid open.

Well that explains why the console doesn’t stay open
