What exhaust do you have? Is it a package exhaust or just better mufflers? Just wondering, cuz exhaust is one of the first things I'd like to do. Not sure whats even under My '04 as far as cats and pipe diameter

first question do you want to keep your spare tire? if not than you can do a true dual exhaust. If you do want to keep it then you can do a dual in single out. Mine is 2.5 in dual in single out with an xpipe and a spintech muffler. the main thing is to get rid of ypipe since it sucks IMO. i had my exhaust done by spintech the muffler manufacture. But id have a local shop due the pipe work and choose what ever muffler you prefer.

I think the spare is a must. Maybe a dual in single out with a dump!! Thats what I had on my Super Duty and it sounded mean! You got a sound clip of your exhaust to share? Love to hear what you did

im running single in (dreaded y pipe) and dual out on either side and i can still fit my 35" spare under the truck...food for though.

i want to keep my spare (u nvr knw) and i want duals out...i like the look of them turned behind the wheels...i just learned what "dump" means...can anyone find pics of dump'd exhaust? i may consider that...i wonder how that will sound?

thanks guys...i have the flowmaster on now...im just going to drop this dual thing...i cant get what i want...not a fan of the dump...

im doing lightning style. out the side before the tire. i think i will go to my old hs auto shop and start hacking away. haha theres a hanger right after my exhaust! so i can cut there then build a system that turns 180 and out the side! should look good. but damn exhaust piping is pricey! i think ill just have it shoot straight out for now! haha but in the future i do want true dual out the side. with x-pipe. and my bullet performance exhaust! and black tips.

think twice! Youll choke yourself out in traffic with the windows rolled down, i had a buddy do this on a cobra he had lol! 30 days later he had duals again although it was a convertible...

i dont drive with my windows down in traffic. cause when ever im in traffic its night time and im cold. haah but its fine. if i get light headed and pass out who cares. just another statistic for cali. haha
