Does anyone know if it is possible to change climate control/fan speed portion of the center stack to the later style with a horizontal bar that you move up to increase blower speed or down to decrease it. With a black interior, it is extremely hard to make changes while driving w/o taking your eyes off the road and the more tactile style of the newer models would be a huge improvement. I would certainly consider it if the cost is 'reasonable.'

I think it was '20 or '21 where they changed the blower control from left-/right+ recessed push controls to a raised chrome bar...in one of the newer models BEFORE they changed the center stack to a huge tablet thing. Ideally, it would NOT have to be the entire part with the twin dials for temperature setting, and just the fan speed adjustment section. Image of my controls, but I do not have one of a later model.

Never mind. I did some checking and it (up/down fan control) first appeared on the F-150 but with a different center stack control mix. Also think it might have been on the 2022 Expeditions, but couldn't find any pictures to verify if the lower controls were the same with the bigger screen. Another good idea that cannot work.

I leave mine on auto and max air speed. Then I just use the temperature adjustment. Lower like 69, 68 speeds up fan to reach temp and higher slows speed.

Can fan speed be changed by voice command? I've never tried it. I only use voice command for calling someone or seeking a destination on the navigation screen.

Update: I just tried to adjust the fan speed by voice command. No go. The verbal message is:"Use the buttons to adjust fan speed". The temperature CAN be controlled by voice, but not the fan.
