Wife wants a new paint job, here's what I've come up with so far....

Wifey thinks it't time to paint our Expy, and I badly photoshoped some ideas of what I'd like. Tell me what you think, or if you have skills, suggest something better.
Here's what I've come up with so far...

1)the original

2)all red

3)some black. I'd do the front and tailgate black too (somewhat FunkMaster Edition)

4)a little more black...

5)or my favorite..

6) other
couple more I added after the pole just becuz. They grey, not a very good job on it but it was worth a try..... hard to make nice flames with my editor...
7)kind of a fpv boss thing

8)or the grey


IDK, I just want it to look different from all the Mexican Mennonites driving around town in there Expys. It already stands out with the lift and tires, but I'd like a little more distance between it an the others. Know what I'm sayin?

We've also been shooting around the idea of gun metal gray body with darker gray silhouette flames across the hood and above the front wheel well similar to my Explorer, just not so colorful...

That would work, but even though they are all from Mexico, they all think they are German. I asked one what he was and he said German. I asked him where his grandparents were born, and he said Mexico. I asked him where his parents were born, and he answered Mexico. I asked him where he was born, and he said Mexico. So I said YOU ARE MEXICAN!!!! My grandparents and parents are from Germany and Austria. I said I am more German than you are, and he got mad.lol.

i like black on bottom. but what would be cool is on the hood ad red ghost flames, and on the side black ghost flames.

I like the black on top and on the bottom, but then again I really like the Boss strip. I would leave the paint glossy and paint the stripe in matte black.

I like the all red....I want to do the same with my 2005....its white with the gray bottom...ill paint it all white when i get it done...

If I do the stripe, it will be matte rough vinyl. A lot cheaper, and removable or even just movable. I did the striping on my car and the deck lid in the same type of vinyl, and it looks great.
