Yer soundin' like the missus! lol

Working on it slowly.. got the t-case shifter in. That was a feat of hickengineering if I ever saw one. ZF has two mounting locations for pivot bolt, ended up using furthermost back one, and then I had to rotate the pivot 180 degrees to get t-case shifter to at least engage 2hi. I now have 2 hi, and almost 4 hi. Got a friend coming over tomorrow with a gas fired rod shaper, and we are gonna fire his torches up, and put a 135 degree bend in this.

Ironically, it now has a mopar shift pattern, 2hi is by seat base, 4 low is under dash.

The F-150 t-case lever will now be my shifter. Redrilling those holes and mounting that tomorrow. standard Expy center console, whacking this one at cup holders, just in front of, and then glassing it in. Losing completely the rectangular catch all.

On a positive note, found a $10 in it tonight. Circa 1999.. betcha its been lost since the last of the Clinton administration.

Beer!

And I have $300 worth of rebuilt drivesahfts for it. Front is plug and play, just need a NV271 flange, on the t-case end. rear is more intense, NV271 flange, create a slip yoke, and make sure the middle length is 35.5".

Would you mind telling me or sending me a PM about how much everything is setting me back?

IF...

IF...

IF...

You can find a ZF-6 for the same $400 I did, and your NV271 for $275 like I did.. you will be within a tank of fuel either way of $1200.

on the left is a F-150 of the appropiate vintage t-case shifter, on the right is the ZF-6 shifter. Redrilled the holes for the mount to the shifter stub you have seen thusly. In answer to an earlier question, apparently YES! I am going with a short shifter.
