WD-40 or PB Blaster or liquid Wrench?

Also, It seems like using a an oil like this will promote the nut/bolt loosening after they are put back together. E.G. If I use WD-40 to get a lug nut off, why won't the lug nut just slip off again when the tire is back on?

Proper torque !?

Fasteners that have sufficient vibration and can work themselves loose over time generally specify some sort of thread locker. Typically smaller ones where you cannot get sufficient torque without breaking.

I have greased all my lug nuts long ago...

I hear PB blaster recommended far more often than the others for removing seized fasteners.

My grandfather recently told me of a hine brew that is a 50/50 mix of acetone and ATF. I haven't used it myself. But him and his friend swear it works great.

Kroil rules.

Google Deal <--- Intro deal for a couple of cans of Aero-Kroil (aerosol cans, you can also buy the stuff in liquid form for your own dispenser).

GREAT great stuff.

I am a big fan of the blue tipped wrench. never any problems removing a stuborn nut with that...:laughing1:

Other than that, pretty much what ever I have on hand. although good ol' 3 in 1 still does great job without the crappy residue the WD4* seems to gather if left alone...
