I updated my FORscan version and oddly enough I still don't have the options for global and close 1 through 5 with the plain English section of the BdyCM. Anyone else have/not have these options (trying to figure out if it's based on year or some coding difference in the BdyCM)?

I'm stumped at to why @mossback can see these and I can't. I briefly compared the As-Built files between @mossback 's 2017 expedition and my 2015 and same amount of address lines are present (goes all the way to 726-68-01), so that hasn't changed. Nothing stood out to me as being different other than the few lines that consistently differ between expeditions.

@mossback hopefully you have more success playing with the plain English option and can see if the enabling/disabling works!

Swapped cars with the wife this afternoon, so I could have the Expy.

Needed to replace a bulb that was out, and adjust the Hypertech program installed.

Nope, no light switch. Even my Edge has one. So annoying! Why take out a perfectly useful item?!?

Now Dark Mode makes perfect sense.

My SSV has dark mode, useful on occasion but also annoying at times... ive had people forget and leave all sorts of shit cuz the light doesnt turn on automatically when they exit

Can ForScan turn the domes on for an '09 SSV?

Andy, just wanted to thank you for the ForScan info you posted for me. I'll be tweaking with this later after my tour ends. Btw, I have had several occasions where an interior light disable comes in handy:
1. When vehicle camping and you need to enter/exit vehicle or access cargo at night and don't want to attract loads of moths and other bugs.
2. Also, I know the lights have a timeout, but if you keep opening and closing your door I think it keeps activating the lights and could eventually wear the battery down (I'll admit, this is unlikely tho).
3. When we were experiencing the solar eclipse this year, we were in the path of totality and you wanted your interior lights disabled for this for effect. So as we were getting in and out of our toyota, we didn't keep activating the interior lights. Was an incredible experience BTW.
4. Sometimes you just want to sit in the dark and be stealthy...

Muddy, I like share when I can and that tip from @LokiWolf saved me from having to install resistors, which I really didn't want to do. I didn't want to cut into the factory wiring.

Those are all good reasons for dark mode, I was being facetious. :D

ADS, I'll go out to the truck when it warms up a little this afternoon and check mine to see I if have the global close options (I think I do, because that looks familiar). My truck was built December 15, 2016 if that helps.

My 05 had a positive off on the dimmer switch. The 17 doesn't.
Well that's just plain dumb.

We use it all the time; if you have small children and they fall asleep on the way home from town or somewhere, it's really nice to be able to turn the interior lights off when you get home and go to get them out....

It is dumb. For such a nice rig it's crazy to me that it lacks this basic function.

ads, when you updated to the latest FORScan and connected to the truck, did you let it do a new scan/listing of all the modules? You weren't, by chance, looking at an older, previous profile?

Good thought, but I created a new profile after I updated just to be sure.

@ads245

This is my BdyCM. I turned on the Daylight Running lights and set them to turn signal lights I put it in drive and turn signal DRLs came on. That was pretty cool.
