Well we have owned the Tahoe and Suburban and you are not wrong the Yukon would have less room for the passengers and less cargo space but for what he is asking about with quality, reliability, resale, and mantince the Yukon would be the better vehicle. Also as I said before the expedition for 2018 is a brand new vehicle from the ground up. There is going to be more annoying little problems that are going to pop up unlike the Yukon that has been out for 3 years there should be less problems.so based on something you have no idea about, you are giving the nod to another vehicle that has been on the road for only 3 years?
i totally disagree with you. accept maybe sound. although the corsa exhaust on an ecoboost does sound very nice!!!

if anybody else wants to contribute to features and accoutrements

To each his own i guess. I love how my expy looks, only thing that looks better is the new navi. To me it doesnt look like a gm at all, the beltline is the only thing they share, but nothing else is the same to me. The platinum expys look damn good, esp with right color. The pic below is mines by the way.

Your assumption is wrong. The new expedition looks like garbage and it's practically a copy of the tahoe. That's the main reason I wouldn't even think of buying one. Other than that, all new car buyers get the luxury of losing up to 90% of what they originally paid for it and that's not including insurance or interest to a life-long used car buyer...
Agreed. And like 99% of the dislikers are life-long used car buyers who won't be in the market for a 2018 until atleast 2025. And by then will be fixated on hating the 2026's....

I won’t buy new it’s not economical. I can’t pay $80,000 for something that’s worth $40,000 in two to three years, that’s me.
I like the Quad turbo 4 cylinder hydrogen powered engine and the self-driving feature. The all glass roof is nice and so is the rear spoiler. I also like the 12" ground clearance and the standard 24" wheels and 65 series tires...I like the 2026's already...lol.

The hover option is really good for off roading.lol, and I also love the new “hover” option, for jumping over traffic jams.

Yeah but that quad 4 cylinder hydrogen engine puts out 540 Hp with 680 Ft/lbs of torque.I’m not going to trust self driving. I was driving a family members yukon with all that forward collision stuff. It was telling me I was going to crash the whole drive and kept vibrating and trying to brake because of the salt on the sensors. Thankfully you can shut all that junk off. I’ll always be driving myself. As far as that quad turbo hydrogen I’ll be doing a 8.2 Liter 502 CID V8 swap and rip that junk right out.
But in all seriousness I think hybrid SUVs will be coming out for the future. I’m ok with self driving as long as I can drive when I feel I should or desire to and shut it off.
Gasoline engines still have a lot of future left. Cheap and long lasting with the infrastructure to support it.

If you know you want a new car and you want to know which is better look for reviews like motor trend or something. The more the better. From one review I saw, the expedition was significantly better. Do your research first. Also remember that you are buying a new car and with that comes new problems and bugs so don't be surprised when you have to make multiple trips to the dealer with problems and to get software updates.
90% is not a hater theory or frustration it's the truth in that regard... Looks up KBB values vs original prices...Well this frustrated 90% loss troll comment is obviously the best proof of the hater Theory... (#sosad)
Personally I would never buy a GM. NEVER! I just don´t like how they (not the dealer) treat their customers.
Example?

So even a denali for free ist nothing but a untrusworthy piece of junk. (FOR ME PERSONALLY!)
I have to wait a bit longer for my new expy, at the moment here in Germany the import price of a 18´ Limited incl. Taxes would be about 110,000 Euros.
So more than 130,000 Dollars... I am but not that crazy...
But I have time and I just wait till someone imported it and realised too late that his european one-cargarage has only enough space for the winter tires.. but not the expy itself...![]()
It comes down to this: Are you a Ford or GM person? That will answer your question on which one to choose.
