5 kids in this tough economy, God bless you Henry! As you know I come from a family of 9. But that was 60 plus years ago, it's so much tougher nowadays! I remember my mom going shopping with me and my younger sister and older brother, and getting 5 bags of groceries for $40.00. That was for 6 then. Nowadays that's $200.00 easy! Good man, hope we get the wife's kiddy wagon going right again! Moose.

My dad had 16 brothers and sisters making 17 total kids that lived. Two additional births died at birth. Growing up it was just the way it was. Didn't think anything of it. We did however fill the small park each year for a family reunion. The were self supporting on a small farm in MO. Most died of heart attacks before 60. You should see the look on the DR's faces when I give a family history.
