Hello there - my expedition is scheduled for the exact same week.

I have called marketing last week and so far all good, they will run a large batch of Expedition on that week

Is there going to be any new scheduling this week? Or is that a once every few week thing? And, is there anybody with a Platinum Max on order that has been scheduled for production? I ordered mine on 11/18 with an instant email confirming order, but no production date yet.

Ordered mine 12/13 Platinum Max with a build date now of 4/25.

They usually post a schedule over at blue oval. It looks like the scheduling this week will be very minimal if any.

Hi there- I ordered mine on 10/15 and it is scheduled for production on May 09th. I called Ford Marketing since I have not received any update e-mail on last 4 weeks and they confirmed is still scheduled on May 09th.

I would recommend calling Ford Marketing, they are very helpful in the updates -

It seems May will be a strong build for Expedition, I would bet many customer orders will be built through the month.

Well, an update, talked to marketing today. They have been great. My truck is fully built, waiting on microchip hold. The system shows a delivery/ship date of April 9th. Marketing today said they are expecting to get these vehicles moved soon, but said the dealer can contact the plant to find out which chip is holding the shipment. If the chips don't fall soon, the delivery date will get pushed 2 weeks at a time.

Ordered 1/26 and still no production date.

So, when I spoke to Marketing Last week, they told me they had all parts to include the chips for my truck. I called again just now, and they told me my truck has been sent off site, when I asked where it was sent off too, the lady was very confused, and said she did not know, but my dealership would know. She then said there is also a hold on my truck for a micro chip, the same microchip they told me last week they had for my truck. My dealership also has no idea what Marketing is talking about. So, it seems like there will just continue to be delays, even after they get built. I wish they were more forthcoming with information, and also gave the correct information to us when we call.

Yes, they said as of now is the same ETA. BUT, if there is a microchip hold, there is no way they have the truck delivered by 4/29. Especially if they have moved it offsite to store until they get the chips.

I figured but I was trying to somehow keep a positive spin. I found out this weekend we have company visiting at the end of April. It would sure be nice to have everyone in one vehicle.

I got the same response.
Seems to be a lot of uncertainty on what's going to really happen.

I called last week too and they said no holds with an ETA to the dealer on 4/5. A few days later I had to call Ford about our current 2018 expedition, and so I checked again and that rep said it had an "end" date of 4/5. Today I called marketing since the status never changed on the tracker. They did say it's in production with an "end" date of 4/5 and it does have a chip hold. He suggested calling back on 4/6 to check again, but it will go straight to in transit almost as soon as it gets the chip. I'm hoping that means I'll have it by the end of next week.

I hope you get it ASAP. I’m hoping that for all of us. I’m sitting on my current Exp waiting to trade it in. Only use it if I absolutely have to. Hoping for a really good price on trade in. My dealer tried to inquire today on how many and what chips they were waiting on, and couldn’t get any info out of Fire. They just keep giving my dealership the same info of delivery around 4/29.

Fyi i have been in chip hold for 3 weeks now and my 3/26 eta has passed and they have no clue when it will ship. Eta's are completely worthless right now

My activate button went live in ford pass.
I kind of envision a new expedition sitting there somewhere with no wheels, no shocks and no seats but the radio is lit up and ready to be activated.

I’ll be waiting until 4/25 according to Ford Marketing or 5/9 according to my dealer before I can hopefully see that activate button. Just drove through DFW yesterday to go pick up and new hunting dog that’s just a pup. I don’t envy the people that have to live there lol
