I am in Virginia and mine was built May 10 and is still sitting in KY going on almost 2 months and they just keep moving the date further away to "ensure my total satisfaction". How about to ensure my satisfaction you send me my friggin car Ford! Geez this is ricidiculous
built but still no shipping after 2 months! I'd be telling dealer to do up the paperwork to make the actual purchas, bring them check from bank and drive to KY and pick it up.

95,000 GM cars also waiting on chip holds

Chip shortage leaves 95K GM vehicles incomplete in storage
The grass isn't greener over there. They ignored me for 5 months with no updates. That's when I cancelled a Yukon XL AT4 and ordered the Expedition. Ford actually gives you some visibility to what's happening. GM gives you none. That and the continuing narrative of lifter issues with the LT motors and I was done with GM SUVs for now. I annecodotally have quite a few friends with low mileage crap outs on those motors. The Ecoboost motors have proven to be pretty dependable. I have 200K on my '16 Expedition.

Priority codes mean nothing these days, my priority code 19 2022 was built before quite a few priority code 2 2022 Expeditions in May, I highly suspect that it's a matter of commodity food-chain that causes one Expedition to be built before another. If they do not have all of the parts in house, the trucks are no longer being scheduled on the line, to wait in a holding area (Ford has over 50,000 such vehicles in holding areas across the country right now, as reported by Ford Corp) for those missing items to be delivered. 100,000 sub assemblies and assembly pieces go in to making an Expedition, if one major item is missing, that truck is getting bumped further down the line, no matter if it is a priority 2 or a priority 19....Yes, it really is that simple these days.

You can call and complain, threaten to pull your order and deposit, but until the supply chain woes get better, it will not make a bit of difference.

Actually, they do still matter. All things being equal on supplies for features, the '02' will be built before the '19'. Everything you say is correct, but relative to like orders, it mattters.

GM's engines have never impressed me. I had a Tahoe with the active fuel management and it was the worst engine ever.

today is now 8 months since I ordered my MaX Limit 403a, and no idea when it is coming in, Ford really is HORRIBLE. This will be the last FORD I ever buy.

Having connections within the Ford corporate hierarchy (not anything to do with scheduling or production), I can tell you that what I posted is indeed a cold, hard fact. In the past, with parts plentiful, your assumption was correct. In today's world, with parts supplier issues across the manufacturing world (not just Ford, and not just here in the US, and not just automotive in nature), priority codes are just a number, and mean little else. if you want to believe that they do, that is fine, but my 2022 Expedition XLT, now sitting in my driveway, ahead of others who ordered earlier, and have numerically lower priority codes tells a completely different story.

Every 45 days? That's supposed to be good?

Mine is due to the dealer the 8th, off the train and on an auto transport according to Ford Marketing. I am holding my breath til I actually pick it up.
Was originally scheduled to be at the dealer between the 12th and the 18th

According to what the dealer shows as an arrival date on their computer. It was shipped about one month ago.

I was scheduled for 6/20. Blk 4*4 Stealth. Order confirmed 1/31. It showed in production last week. Then I get an email on 7/1 stating delays... Next email comes a few hours later that's it's been built and expected at my dealer between 7/13-7/23 ?? Order tracker shows tons of modules, sticker looks the same as it was for the past two weeks

My Stealth was scheduled for 6/20, as well, and no word on anything, though I haven’t gotten a single email the entire time. Tracker still says In Production with no date shown. No modules listed still. I’ll keep refreshing like a madman until this sucker is in my driveway.

God Bless You Bill: I'm agreeing with you. If the parts aren't available, then all things aren't equal and priority can't help you. Just got my email yesterday that mine is built.

Excellent news, congratulations.

On a side note, 2 days after mine was delivered to me, Fords tracker still showed it as shipped, and I never received an email from Ford letting me know it was delivered to the selling dealer.....

Just got the it's been shipped email. It said in production 7/1 and built 7/1 . Does it take a day to build ?? Hoping it gets to the dealer soon. They're estimating 7/17-7/23. I really hope it was worth the wait !!

As my Expy was marked shipped (no date) I checked in with my sales rep to get a closer estimate of the cost so I can wrangle some cash together for the purchase. He looked up the order and saw it had a rail car assigned and gave me the rail car number. Been tracking it multiple times a day. It started in Shelbyville, KY and is now in East Point, Georgia, which is just outside Atlanta - moved south and a little east. I live south of Denver, where the closest rail yard is, and would have expected it to travel west. We'll see how things progress as the week passes. Sales rep also said the updated delivery date is now 18 - 25 Jul (original was 25 - 31 Jul). Hoping it gets here in the next 2 weeks as we're planning a 600 mile total round trip the week of the 18th.

Is anyone having trouble with the tracking site? I put my order # and Vin # in and click track and it just refreshes to the same screen minus the info I put in.
