I’m trying to figure out how to know which price I should be paying. Does the window sticker show prices at the time of order, or show current prices?

You should be price protected from what you agreed upon when you ordered unless you have a shady dealer that tries to rip you off..

Window sticker shows current price, probably higher than when you ordered.

Where do you find the Ford Marketing phone #? Mine now says in transit with a 9/17-9/23 ETA. I am wanting to track it on the RAIL but don’t have the rail car # or anything. This has been a very long process and has definitely become a game for me!! Thanks for any information

Call during normal business hours m-f. Work through the prompts then give the representative your personal info. State you want to get an order status. Towards the end of the conversation inquire if a rail car has been assigned and what is the rail car number.

Rail car tracking is done through csx touch trace.
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt. You can also type in the rail car initials on your keypad. Mine was TTGX704861 so I typed in 81814192#
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is). Mine being 704861#
5. When prompted for next car say DONE or hit double #
6. Listen very carefully-maybe have them repeat it a few times. You will get a robotic location response and time stamp. Look at csx rail maps to get general movement and estimates. Mine took 2 weeks to get from the plant to the transport yard in north Houston. Took 5 days from there to make it to the dealer.

Finally, just got a VIN for my Platinum ordered in January, scheduled build date 10/3. The Ford tracking page doesn't seem to work — I put in the order # and VIN but pressing the 'track' button does absolutely nothing.....anyone know why?

It's pretty finicky. Maybe try another browser or two, sometimes it will go through, sometimes it won't! If you just got the VIN it may take a while still before it will work for you.

Speaking of price you’re paying. My Expy is a Limited 4x4 304A, scheduled for production the week of 9/26. Due (I’m assuming) to chip shortages, they removed 3 options (the one touch auto-up rear windows, active park assist 2.0, and kick to open rear door opening sensor). At the same time in the “packages” section, 2 DISCOUNTS appeared: the Sun & Style Discount and the Ultimate Trip Discount. But it doesn’t say why they were added or how much of a discount they are. I’m assuming it’s because I had options deleted, or maybe because I custom ordered it? Does anyone know what they are for or how much they equate to?

I’ve got similar deletes on my build. Attached is my window sticker showing the discounts. It’s not much.

those have been showing up even before they started announcing deletes. I think it is some bug in their system for the tracking page.

Thanks for the information. Very helpful. My Expedition rolled out this morning on CSX to Roselake, IL on CSX. The final destination is OKC. I read that Ford uses Union Pacific for all deliveries West of the Mississippi. It is currently on CSX and will be in Roselake, IL (East St. Louis) tomorrow afternoon. Will it switch train carriers then or have people had it stay on CSX with a destination West of the Mississippi? Thanks!

It will switch to either Union Pacific or BNSF but you will still be able to track it through CSX. If you listen to the prompt it says the train identifier it is on, mine would chime “on UP something”.

Wow, mine shows shipped this morning! Went into production last week!
Thats great! Just got the email this morning that it is built and going through final inspection before shipment. Gave me a delivery to dealer date of 9/16 to 9/22. Did you get a letter as well prior to shipment?

My Platinum finally went into production according to the tracker. Ordered 03/07/2022. The window sticker is green, I think I remember reading that meant something but I forgot what. The sticker says convoy on it also. Does that mean it will come by truck not rail? The sticker shows the MCS delete which is a disappointment but knew it was coming. Also shows the 2nd row one touch removal but nothing about rear AC controls. Dealer says to expect vehicle around 30 days after production begins. We will see if they are correct. One last question, I have Z plan pricing through a family member. Is there a way to verify that the price the dealer is giving me the true Z plan price?
I’m using x plan pricing which is similar. From my understanding they’re supposed to show you the invoice of your vehicle and it’ll show your z plan pricing at the bottom. I believe that’s it plus a $275 document fee and the dealer isn’t supposed to add anything else. Hopefully someone more experienced can also chime in.

My email says its shipped and on the way, delivery date to dealer estimated Sept 19th-22nd. One of these days when I get bored I’ll try calling Ford and getting train info to see where it’s at.

after 2 weeks week of pinging every ford dealer within 200 miles for limited and limited max's with 303A stealth and HD tow in a darker color I could live with, I found a limited max stealth (dk matter gray) 4x4 2.5 hours from home and went and got it. I wasn't looking or really wanting to pay the extra for a MAX, but at least this once is sitting in my driveway and the only REMOVAL was auto stop/start which I always disable anyways. all the environmental controls front to back and the hands free lift gate REMOVED from my order are still intact on this one and like I said its in my driveway and not parked in KY speedway for who knows how many more months on chip hold/shipping delay. So if you are in Hampton Roads area in VA, a Stone Blue Limited Stealth 4x4 with HD tow and engine block heat will be at priority ford norfolk someday this year (maybe) that you can snag.
So, i finally made my way to my original dealer to get my order's $1000 deposit back. I had copies of paperwork including emails where I had specifically asked about if I cancelled or ended up not wanting the order if I get my money back and them saying yes, just in case they tried to back pedal or come up with hoops to jump thru like had to wait for order to arrive as I have seen others post about. not a single fuss, they barely spoke. they didn't even ask why or try to change my mind and I didn't even mention I had already bought from another dealer. all they asked was if I had the card I used to put deposit down with me. I have a feeling cancelling orders is routine at this point for 2022 models since so many are taking waaaay to long even build let alone clear chip hold and with shipping delays, no one wants to wait anymore. plus they will make money on this when it does come since I had a signed x plan price of under $73 K and its sticker is $77855 before they add on any dealer scams like nitrogen tire fill and pin-stripping.

It’s on it’s way! Is there a way to track movement if it’s coming convoy or is that only possible by rail?
