Ok so we need to find out t the original stud size so you can get the correct tap and drill bit. The bit will have to be a very good quality one. There is a tool that is made to extract exhaust studs. I will search for it. That is the best bet because it keeps the bit centered. Drilling with a...
Ok that's about an hour from me.. I work 6 days a week I'm willing to help if. We can work out a schedule. I'm not a mechanic but I do work on my bikes and truck myself 90% of the time usually only restricted by the tools I don't have. I don't recommend that prograbit it will break. What tools...
finally got some lights! they are not yet hooked up but they are secured and ready to be hooked up. i drilled the top fiberglass piece with 1/2" bit cut 2 pieces of steel about 7 inches long and put one on top of the fiberglass where each light was bolted in as to not stress it especially when...
Sorry I have nothing helpful to say but what year is your expy? And where is the a4wd light? Mine says 4wd when auto kicks on and when 4hi is on (shows same thing)... Then 4lo is something diff
Have you thought about going to a local mechanic and just asking them to check your fuel pressure and that's it? Could be real cheap and wouldn't hurt to ask
Unless you have aftermarket upper control arms you will not be able to change just the ball joints. I would recommend buying new ones that come with removeable ones, though.
Ball joints. Rreplace them asap before they break. If you have time you can rent the tools and do it yourself. If you don't its going to cost some good money. I'd change all 4 now rather than just 2.
I'm 6' truck has 3 inch bl plus 2" spacer a tt I stand on my winch. But if its something like the spark plugs and coils I climbed up and just layed across the front (above radiator) or kneeled up there
I bought the back to black and It was very hard To get even.. Though it did make it more black than it was when I got it right took a Lot of elbow grease.. Too much.. Here's a Suggestion try applyinng it with a buffer. I had the same problem with rattle can paint until I got a cheap $20 walmart...
Thing tthat scares me about the flush is the fact that so many people have. Horror stories or don't recommend them. These opinions come from people with all different kinds of cars. Do you think just a fluid and filter change would help?
I have a bit of a diff problem.. First time I replaced the bottom bar with on from thee junkyard they must have given me a bolt from something else because it didn't fit completely. Well being as I wanted to drive and didn't want a broken one I just put it in made sure that it was tight. Well...
Torque converter shudder.. Jeez pain of a fix. And I'm sure expensive to get fixed.. My brothers mountaineer had converter problems and he ended up sometimes losing power up to 40mph. I don't think he had the vibration though. What do you think of how much longer it will last or is it just an...
Mine is a 2000 4x4 4.6 120000. I have 35" tires since 100000 which could possibly make it worse since the trans may be shifting at the wrong point now? Not sure but I believe it was happening before the tires also
I also have the same problem. as far as I remember it always happens in a high gear at a lower rpm just above or about the same rpm as it would be "hunting" for gears
Sorry I did not see that you have a 2004 so I don't think the boot I have will fit but my position stands unless for some reason you do not have to stretch the boot on the 04 but I doubt it
Go with a new shaft. I could not find the damn cone to stretch the boot anywhere. Other tools were 200+ I have the boot if you decide to deal with that ill sell it but I definitely recommend going with the new shaft. Advance auto had one in stock and its a straight forward quite quick fix.
