09 Expy XLT-what fuse for "switched power"

09 Ford Expy, XLT, 250k. Installed a Boss Double Din, Apple Carplay. Currently tapped into the cig lighter/constant power for convenience.

I have killed the battery twice now, and as the stereo will come on when locking, or if Im near it with my phone and it syncs for Bluetooth.

What fuse location are you folks using to tap into for "switched power"

Better to ask for your advise, experience here, before trying to experiment/test at the fuse block and I have to stop and cater to an interruption by the wife again.

You need to use an ignition source meaning a switch that only comes active once the key is turned. This would include windows, radio, air conditioner, etc. Any power source that stays on with the key out is not what you want to connect to.

After some time with a test light, I found that on my 2009 Expy, fuse 43 through 46 are switched/ignition source.

Hope this helps someone else in the future.
