You said that you fixed the title. I was assuming that you meant the title of the thread and that was what I was trying to figure out. I have created a couple of threads that I would like to change the title to make it match closer to what we were really discussing.the current Denali is 3 years old with no changes other than a transmission
How is the Expy not 'truck-like'? The interior is identical to the Ford trucks, it has giddyup and I believe it's bigger.
The only thing the 18 Denali has over both Ford products is the exterior body style imo. Everything else isn't even close.
Actually, you can speak on quality, since the expy is based on the pickups which have been around for yrs. With that said, isnt the ford trucks sec in quality only to toyota tundra?

The 2018 Expy also has more ground clearance than my 2012 F150 4x4! Granted, it’s only about 0.2 inches, but I was shocked.According to fords specs, the new expy has higher ground clearance and better approach angles than the 2017 expy. As far as height, the expys have always been taller the the gms, even now when the 18 got an inch shorter. I understand your subjectivism, u like the gms, nothing wrong with that, but urs and some others comments and reasoning for the dislike of the looks of the expy and navi are somewhat confusing. Ur cool in my book though jexp

Oops my bad, i dont love in tx anymore sorry lol. My parents live outside Baltimore md and i pcs'd to dover de a yr ago from san antonio tx. On glassy smooth roads, the gms are as smooth as butter though, so as long as the toad is good, youll be fine.
Nice joke on the 15 denali. The only diff btw a 15 denali(escalade) and an 18 denali is the 10 sp auto, everything else is the same.
no doubt!!!I guess so much for the misinformation that has been going around the forum.
For basicly every thing on that list of your the GMC would be the better choice do to the fact that the 2018 is a brand new vehicle with a full redesign. That and the 6.2L V8 would sound so much better than the ecoboost.Hi,
I'm new to this forum and this is my 1st post here.
I'm in the market for the large SUV and deciding between 2018 Expedition or 2018 Yukon Denali. Price wise, they are similar. I wonder if I could get your input on the followings if you have considered/owned Yukon Denali before.
1. Quality/Reliability of both builds (Historically on these models)
2. Resale value (Historically which one holds better RV?)
3. Repair costs (Historically which one is more expensive?)
4. Maintenance intervals
5. Safety rating (Historically)
6. Lease or Buy
Thank you in advance for your support on this!

Agreed. And like 99% of the dislikers are life-long used car buyers who won't be in the market for a 2018 until atleast 2025. And by then will be fixated on hating the 2026's....
Your assumption is wrong. The new expedition looks like garbage and it's practically a copy of the tahoe. That's the main reason I wouldn't even think of buying one. Other than that, all new car buyers get the luxury of losing up to 90% of what they originally paid for it and that's not including insurance or interest to a life-long used car buyer...Agreed. Some people don’t give a shit! Nothing like a new ride!! I can’t wait to get the new $78k Tahoe look a like for my wife and daughter. Worth every penny!Your assumption is wrong.
