I've seen this thread a few times on the truck forums, but does anyone have a clue what the color is for the Acc switch only wire is on the 2015 Expedition.

I'm fitting an aftermarket headrest DVD system for the kids, and having rewired the 2011 model a few times in upgrading headunits, cross connecting rear Invision system, hadn;t had any problems.

but onthe 2015 model, I'm realising I might have to dig a bit deeper into the centre console, as there is definitely no acc power only wires in the rear. Even the power sockets are always on.

Cheers

i looked at the ford body builder site and found zero info...
but you might look at the harness for the a/c controls, there may be an acc wire in that feed harness.

On my 2013 I used a navigator console (2nd row) and ran a heavy power wire directly from the battery (fused) to the console and set up a distribution block in there to power things like the pure sine wave inverter, laptop charger, and mutliport usb charger.

I would advise doing the same in your case to make sure your wiring can support the load you are demanding. In my case I have a car alarm that will crank the truck if the voltage gets too low and on several occasions when kids forgot to turn off their DVDs or computers it was required to start and charge the battery. If you didn't have that set up or parked in a garage that did not have an exhaust evacuation system I would simply install a relay that cuts the power when the ignition switch is off. This would be easy to do piggy backing off another switch circut to signal the relay.
