What is the typical day of the week that you will receive the email saying your vehicle has been scheduled? I ordered on 2/18/22, XLT Max 202A, Special Edition, Max Tow, ELSD and Middle Row Bench
Thursday is scheduling day, you'll eventually get an email stating your car is scheduled.

February orders are not yet scheduled, neither are the last two weeks of January 2022 orders submitted (mine included). Be patient, they were closed for 3 solid weeks, all shifts due to parts shortages. These parts shortages and subsequent closures for each shift has had a cascading effect on the timeline for your order to be scheduled.

Well this is new…I guess I no longer have a production date? Ordered in October, the email last Friday moved me out to 4.25 but started as 3.7. Max, limited, infinite blue, sandstone, captains middle row, max towing, 302A package.
I don’t know what to do from here

I received the same email today as well but I don’t even have a production date or a VIN. Ordered on 10-26 in anticipation of having twins in March, already have a 2 year old, and have a 24ft jet boat to haul. Looks like the Subaru Ascent and my ‘06 Cummins will have to make due for quite a while.
I’m guessing it’s a “I’m sorry our chip plants in Japan are down for a while so just hold tight” email.

Whoa, ford mustve seen the writing on the wall for the 22s and decided to push ahead for 23. If you ordered and hadn't gotten a build date for your truck yet, I would take the L and look for one on a lot in the next couple weeks or wait and order a 23.

I never received my email this week. Is there anyone else that didn't receive theirs? Is this some elaborate sick joke Ford is playing on us or are we actually getting some Expys built?

@dlcorbett would you mind sharing where you got this info? I plan on calling the dealer today to get my options to push for a 23. Just want to have my ducks in a row. Thanks so much

The dates shown are in line with typical 2022/2023 model year changeover going all the way back to the early 1960's.

in this case, it was posted over at B.O.F. overnight.

I ordered mid February, told 7 months...now debating asking them to pull back and wait another month or so for a 2023.

got that same infamous mail. I ordered Nov 2 but also ordered a RES which i understand would have delayed availability. At this point, I don't know what the benefit would be to getting a late MY 22 when 23 is round the corner. Still kind of want my rear entertainment system though

I guess it comes down to wait time. If people have ‘22 orders now they will likely have the car this year. I doubt anyone drives a 2023 before year end. If the ‘23 have similar delays, that is.

Anyone have a status of in production with the date, and then have their window sticker disappear? I have the window sticker, but now when I click on the link it shows up as “not yet released”.

I also had an in production date show up this week after a couple weeks of just showing "in production" as the status.
My date was 3/16, and I received an email last night saying it might be longer than expected. I did have access to the window sticker previously, but the link just closes out as of today, which is what it did the first few days after moving into the "in production" status without the date. When I received the VIN, I was able to add it to my FordPass app, and it never showed anything. Today, the app prompted me to try to activate the new one for FordPass Connect, so I'm hoping that's a good sign.

Exactly the same situation with mine.
For reference I have a 304a in stone with the elsd and HD tow.

When I click the activate on FordPass it just errors out. Which I guess makes sense.

Mine went into production around the start of the month. Window sticker was available as of late Feb.

First time posting but I have been watching the site for a while and there is a lot of good information on here. I ordered a white Platinum the first week of January and I have not heard anything so I called my dealer this week and he Kind of laughed and said he had no clue when it would go into production. I called a different ford dealer to see if they had any coming in and he said they just unloaded a 2022 Agate black King Ranch off the truck and since it was only 20 miles from my house I was able to go look at it right away. Once I saw it and took it for a test drive I decided to buy it and cancel the Platinum. I think I’m liking the agate black better than the star white metallic and the interior is very nice. I was never sure about the 15.5 screen because I like hard controls but after using it for a few days it may be my favorite thing about this vehicle. The speakers sound great. We have put about 350 miles on it so far with most trips being 10-15 miles and a few up to 40 and the average mpg is 19 to 20 and almost 22 on the longer trip.

Hagerstown, a fellow md'er?

Everybody who bought one on the forum got krs. All the plattys on cars.com are gone now pretty much, but noone on the forums have one that I know of.

How do you like the drive and handling of the truck? How's the quietness as well?

It’s rides very well and it is quiet. I traded my Lincoln nautilus in on it because it was not big enough and I think the expedition rides nicer and is just as quiet maybe Quieter. The steering feels good also. I actually live in Pa right on the border of Md.

One thing to consider is that if you're going to wait for a 2023, it may start production in January 2023 and be delivered in March 2023. GM's order cutoff for 2023 models is around April so you could just wait until mid 2023 and see if you prefer the revised 2024 GM full size SUVs.
