My understanding of the process is the dealer can assign any priority code they want from 10-19. These are used to rack and stack their internal order to be considered for production scheduling. Once you are scheduled and get a VIN, the codes no longer are used or mean anything. Then it comes down to part availability etc.
I have been told the same.A few folks asking about the status of their Expeditions on BlueOval this morning are being told they’re being held offsite for microchips.
Very encouraging. My Infinite Blue on Sandstone with Bench 2nd row and towing package is still scheduled on May 09th.As of this morning, my Platinum is now "Produced" but also "Sent Offsite." I'm not sure what data Marketing has that I can't access, but "Stop Ship Details" indicates there's no record for my vehicle. Maybe I'll but the bullet and call Marketing. I note also that I'm seeing "ETA Start Date" and "ETA End Date" of April 24 and April 30 respectively.
Importantly I'm NOT seeing anything about my multi-contour ("massage") seats being deleted. Like so many others, that plus BlueCruise is why I didn't order a Limited.

I was looking on that website and it also says that the rear entertainment is now available. I’m calling my dealer tomorrow to hopefully get it added on my order.
I this point, I'll just wait for a late 2023.

I'm not saying that Ford is the best at updating their Build and Price site, but I was on there yesterday and it still showed the RES as "Late Availability".
