Well, just got off the phone with Ford marketing awhile ago and they said I have a (tentative) scheduled production date of 4/28! I called the sales manager at the local Ford house to try and get some validity to the 4/28 build date through their system. Turns out the 5/9 date that the salesman has been telling me this whole time wasn’t the week of production date but rather the projected delivery of the vehicle to the dealership! I’ll believe it when I see it but at least I have an actual build day. Finally a little light at the end of the tunnel!
I hope the best for you.... I'm hoping everyone gets their trucks quickly. I know I can't wait to drive mine.

That's crazy. I am assuming you tried calling Marketing and asking them if there is an updated delivery ETA? Although, I don't think the info they have is the most up to date. I called them this morning after receiving the delay email from Ford. They are telling me their system still shows an ETA of 4/29. Which is not feasible at all at this point.
I called them yesterday, and their system still had shown mine as ETA 4/5, which obviously isn't accurate considering we're past that, and it's still parked off site somewhere on a chip hold.

Random question - posters here call Ford Marketing for order updates. Ford marketing? How would the marketing department know about production scheduling? Just curious how that started.

I was curious to see what I could find in the "as built" data set, so i cross checked my vin with two near identical ones on a dealer lot. I found some substantial gaps with a few common module codes. This is not perfect, and codes do change, but here's what I've found.
These modules exist for my build, but are missing programming code for large sections. at least giving me an idea of what "chips" are missing, as they don't have corresponding instruction codes.
The last one (721) has no data, but this system and code should exist.

No expert here, just doing some cross checking. so the actual "module" might not align with the first 3 digits of the code. but the code (first 3 digits) are what I have the gaps with. These match up with the 2021+ F150 alignment, so again, might not match the expy.

ACM - Audio Front Control Module
727
IPMA - Image Processing Module A
706
RCM - Restraints Control Module
737
RTM - Radio Transceiver Module
751
VDM - Vehicle Dynamics Control Module
721

How did you look those up for your VIN?

Every time I called ford to get an update on my wife’s car, they send me over to marketing. Not sure why they are in charge of tracking but it works.

It’s a pretty basic car. XLT max, 200a, 4wd. That being said, it shouldn’t have any extra chips I should have to worry about for chip hold or at least I hope that’s the case!

Have been in production since 3/30 and got an email yesterday that it was taking longer than expected. Got an email this morning that it’s built and preparing for shipment with a delivery estimate of 2-3 weeks. I guess we’ll see. Ordered 12/2.

Yes, 303A. Maybe there was some truth to the wiper motors being the issue and showing up yesterday. I’m still not holding my breath, but surely once it says built it’s actually built and has all parts. Only option Ford removed per my sticker was auto start/stop which I’m not losing sleep over.

That's my hope, that some people are wandering from truck to truck as we speak, installing those things. I actually drove a Wagoneer yesterday, preparing for a plan B if needed.

Doesn't look good for us Expedition people waiting to be scheduled for production. There is a glimmer of hope for Navigator people

I was thinking to do the same.
Curious what you thought of it.

I actually like it. I had a Ram Rebel before my current F150, and I feel like FCA/Chrysler/Stellantis/whatever offers a pretty strong value. It wasn't apples to apples with my Expedition Max, especially considering I got a good deal by special ordering. It is bigger than a regular Expedition/Tahoe/Yukon, but smaller than the Max/Suburban/Yukon XL. There is something to be said for the sound of the V8, though.

Interesting. The V8 sound is hard to replicate. But so is the TT torque.
Despite issues with our Pacifica PHEV, (battery fire recall) it’s been solid.
I wanted BlueCruise but can’t justify a Grand Wagoneer to get their version. And the longer Max wheelbase is better for towing our 35’ rv trailer.
So I think I either keep my 2015 or keep waiting on the ‘22.

Is it time to start looking at a Wagoneer? (Don't boot me from the forum).
I need the towing ability of the Expy. Wagoneer is the only one that matches (actually bests...). It's sort of ugly in my view but I could get over that. They'll also be putting the new twin turbo 6 cyl Hurrincaine engine to match the EcoBoost. Interesting, at least.
I honestly looked very close the Wagonner and I was disapointed with few items :

1. The SUV design is not too bad when you see physically but definitively behind Expedition and Suburban

2. Interior is the opposite : look worst alive than in the picture. Grand Wagooner is definitively better although the regular is not;

3. Size : The max is still bigger, although they will release a bigger version later.

4. Engine I like the V8 but lags in power,
fuel economy .

Still waiting Expedition is the only plan.

I wonder if the Navigator's are being shipped out with all of the goodies deleted?
I'm not too sure about the Navigator scheduling. Usually, when the report is published. They indicate scheduling for a particular build date/week. There is no build week listed for Navigator, even though they indicate scheduling to take place next week.

i think he was more posing the question of “if the expedition’s luxury counterparts (the navigators) are being shipped from the factory without stuff like the MC seats and stuff along those lines?”
