Have been in production since 3/30 and got an email yesterday that it was taking longer than expected. Got an email this morning that it’s built and preparing for shipment with a delivery estimate of 2-3 weeks. I guess we’ll see. Ordered 12/2.
Received a shipped email this morning with an expected delivery of 4/23-4/29. Maybe it’s actually going to happen. I’ll believe it when the keys are in my hand….

How can I set up my vehicle tracking to receive vehicle updates on my order? thank you!
In order to track your vehicle, you need the order number and VIN for the vehicle order. The order number is an alphanumeric number that should read like A123. For example, mine is M108. At that point, you can get on the Ford Vehicle Order Tracking website and lookup your vehicle. Unfortunately, the site doesn’t give me much info currently other than the order has been placed and the order date. Once they start building it (4/28 Fingers crossed) it should update that production has started, when it’s built, when it’s shipped, and finally when it arrives at the dealer. The site in my end doesn’t even have the production date posted, I had to call Ford Marketing to get that info.

Not sure if this was the answer you were looking for or not. Other than that, that’s all I got for ya lol

Was just told my expedition is in production but currently on hold due to microchip shortages. Gave me an ETA of 5-9-22 of when they will be available. I’m over it!

5/9/22 is when they they expect to have the chips in? Or is that your estimated Delivery to the Dealer?

I’m not even in production yet, ordered late October. Told the dealer when/if it comes in, I might pass for a 23. I plan on going in and ordering as soon as it’s available. At this point I’ve done all the maintenance on the minivan that I was hoping to not have to do prior to trading it in. What’s another year of soul-sucking minivan driving at this point

Not for nothing but don’t hold your breath, I got a delivery date for 4/10 and that day has come & gone, I called my dealer and he just look it up and told me that he sees that my truck is off site waiting for a chip, mine was ordered on 12/5/21 so just a little info for you.

I would bet that's delivery. I called this morning, and my ETA for delivery is still last week of April. Also on "microchip hold".
I called today (been in chip hold for over a month) and they have no clue what my new eta is. I really do not understand their system at all if they can give some eta's but not others

Is yours “In Production” or “Shipped”? Mine was sent offsite also for a hold but now shows as built and shipped.

No, that was the ETA of the chips to be available. They didn’t give me an ETA on delivery!

They don’t know anything I’m convinced. They are still telling me delivery of 4/29, but mine is still offsite. Then other people are getting theirs shipped. Then someone who says they work the line at KTP says they are not short chips, but short wiper motors. I pretty much believe nothing at this point. They have no rhym or reason for what’s getting built and shipped. It’s all a guessing game that none of us can figure out.

Well my delivery window has passed and the truck is still in Louisville. Is it really finished and I’m waiting on transport? Or am I really parked on a parts hold? I don’t know. And my dealer doesn’t know either.

Those of you guys with trucks sitting off site waiting on parts I feel for ya and regret to inform you that you may need to be prepared to watch others whose trucks were built after yours get delivered before yours. I was in your position last year with my superduty. Truck sat offsite until they were done with the 21 production run and when they were transitioning to 22s is when my truck was finally built and shipped.

I fully expect this to take months at this point. When they get full parts in, I’m sure they will put all that on the line and the ones being produced will be 100% whole, and eventually they will get to the thousands they have sitting off site. I love when ford themselves tell you there are no holds on your vehicle and they have all parts, and then they love it offsite for 19 days now on a parts hold.

So, yours is listed as built now? Not as still in Production? If that is true, then the whole "Chip" shortage doesn't seem like much of an excuse for yours to still be sitting there.

Yep, I've been "built" since March 31.

I spoke to my salesman yesterday and he said all that he can tell is I was released from the factory. He cautioned I may still be waiting on a part. Not great. My current lease is up in 3 days.

Its a complete joke that Ford is not transparent with their customers. What they don't realize, if they would just be completely up front with us, they would get less phone calls, and we all could plan accordingly.

Xraytek 22 pinged Cyberdman at Blue Oval. The two of us are both waiting on Navigators built nearly the same time and in the same status.

Cyberdman's info says

Awaiting Shipment - Delay - Convoy Carrier Kentucky Truck, KY Apr-11-2022, 00:00 UTC

So maybe I am built but the shipping is the issue.
