2023 Expedition Max SPP Roof Issue???

Hi everyone! We are on vacation and took this photo of the strange roof pattern of our brand new Expedition. Is this normal? Look between the roof rails and you’ll see what I mean. Thanks in advance!!

What is weird is that is the only flat space that would accommodate an aftermarket antenna of any sort. It would make more sense if centrally located.

Yea, normal. Seems like it should be symmetric, but it isn’t. Doesn’t affect anything, those strips are for support when stamping the medal, and installing. Provides modest roof weight support also.
