Has anybody noticed their TPMS not displaying psi/bar on the dash after messing around? All I did was the bambi and then the door chime. I havent driven it since, but i did start the engine and sit im my garage.

eta: truck might need to be moving for them to work. Duh.

It does. Needs a few spins. Drive around the block and they will resync.

Yup, that fixed it. I did however notice that my seatbelt minder wont stay off after doing either one of the two or both (bambi and door chime) So not sure whats up there.

eta: I think it just reset it. Seems to be off now. Oh well. I am 40 now, so perhaps my brain isnt functioning well.

Hmm. Our MacBook is used exclusively for my wife’s work and I’m sure she won’t go for adding shit to it. Critical work so anything that could fubar it would be beyond catestrophic. We seem to find the pitfalls in stuff if there is one even remotely possible. Might just have to end up with a cheap windows unit.

Anybody in Houston who could help me with a few basic Forscan tweaks on my 20 Expy? I only have a Mac and work PC so am SOL when it comes to installing the software. Of course I could compensate you for your time, whether that be beer, hand sanitizer or $ Venmo!

Has anyone worked out all the differences for the 2020s yet? How visible is this to a dealership?
There is a 2020 Specific Thread...I suggest you post in that, at least I thought there was. Maybe all the discussion happened in the 2019 thread. Oh Well!

If you are using the newest Forscan all of the quick easy change stuff for the BCM will take care of most things.

The IPC is mostly the same, haven't compared it line for line to 2019 code. The BCM is COMPLETELY different. No coding from 18/19 should be used for the BCM. APIM has some small differences, but everything I have tried coding wise has worked. APIM has the easy coding/Drop down change option. I recommend using that.

All of it is visible to the dealer if they look. The APIM changes can be seen by Ford when Sync checks for updates. No dealer is going to care about the changes as long as you don't blame Ford for something not working when it was clearly you coding something wrong.

Also if they do module updates because of a bulletin or TSB from Ford, the changes could be wiped.

Does anyone have a link to the 2020 changes? I didn’t see a 2020 thread in here....
I was able to install VMware and windows. I have a WiFi adapter, and a wired one that I used with my BMW, so hopefully one of those will work...

DO NOT use the spreadsheets. 95% of what you might want to change is in the easy config drop downs. Most are either BCM or APIM.

Hi all, this forum has helped me out tremendously and after reading and going to different websites to learn, I have finally started using Forscan version "2.3.35 beta" installed on my laptop in early Oct 2020. I have a 2019 Expedition XLT 202A package 4WD and I did my first update today using the easy mode (the non "AS BUILT format" modules) so I don't have to deal with spreadsheets and codes. I was successful disabling the no key double honk and fog lights on in high beam. However, I "Enabled" engine temp and engine oil gauges but both did not work. Would anyone know why or have dealt with this? Do I need to use the "AS BUILT format" module and enter the codes (freaks me out so rather not if I don't have to)? Also, I'm trying to locate the turn signal blinkers module so I can change it from the 3 blink default to 5. Does anyone know where it is located? Thank you all for your help!

Hi, yes if I recall correctly I had the same issue, but it worked using the codes...dont freak out, just write down what you are changing.
