98 won’t crank

My 98 expedition has been sitting for a while. I pulled it out charged the battery and for whatever reason it won’t turn over everything seems normal main disconnect really on firewall engaging but no clicking or anything from the starter. Any simple diag would be helpful hate to oull the starter for nothing

Connect a voltmeter and crank it up. If it falls below 9 volts while cranking, you need to change the battery.
