I searched but couldn't find anything on this. But the amber turn signal lights mounted in my mirror are hardly visible in daylight. They are just small pinpoints of light barely noticeable. Is this a normal condition? Is the brightness somehow adjustable?

All stock lights on Expeditions are puny weak ass shit and with ridiculous coloring at that...headlights taillights indicator lights plate lights dome lights eeeeeverything... literally any amount spent, even 10 or 12 bucks on a lil baggie of chinese LEDs to replace any bulb whatsoever will have guys in far newer and better equipped trucks coming up to you and asking what you did to make it so much better.

Ford should seriously kick whoever the hell is responsible's ass to the curb, its ******* embarrasing.

I agree. I've replaced my license plate, backup, and brake lights with Pilot LEDs from Walmart and I've had several people roll up at night asking what kind of lights I'm running. Now they may not be the brightest but apparently they work

The mirror side turn signals are directional focused "***** weak ass" LEDs (to coin a phrase). And plenty bright. Which is the topic of this discussion...

Beware of some "cheap ass Walmart" LEDs as they don't last long.

I added an additional LED to the outside edge of my mirrors, wired to the factory LED assembly, to ensure the blinker is more noticeable. I used a set of running lights for a newer Silverado Dually but others have used plain old screw on sport bike blinkers. eBay, $6, 45 minutes of your time.

I did something similar on a Mercury Grand Marquis using a simple LED "bolt." It's blindingly bright.
