New here...
I have a 2003 EB and there is a short somewhere causing the back up lights to come on while going down the road. The come on like they are supposed to when placed in reverse but they flicker going down the road. I have checked fuses, relays, etc. I replaced the sensor on transmissison and cleaned the plug/contacts. I pulled both tailight housings and searched for any wiring issues. As a temporary "fix" I put a jumper wire in the fuse location with a switch so the back up lights are actually disconected unless i hit the switch. Keeps them from coming on while going down the road. The only problem is the trailer plug/lights are run from the same fuse.
i'm guessing there could be a skinned wire anywhere causing this????
Anyone ever had this or heard of this issue- or am i just that damn lucky?
I don't know anything else to check. Any suggestions????
