I have no idea whether this will be a valid concern,...but...
Due to the current job cuts and plant closings, I would assume Ford will be in a position to have to squeeze every penny from "all things Ford"....
I would therefore assume that OEM parts prices may increase. OEM suppliers usually get updated price lists monthly, so anything you are planning to buy, you may want to start planning to do soon.
Any extended warranties,...major repairs (involving/needing OEM parts), etc...
