I got my swap a couple months ago at a far lower price and had more with it, but as Tom and I were talking about this weekend, the swap is becoming more popular so the cost is going to increase. Considering all things, this should provide a much cheaper kit than out-of-the-box s/c kits.

-The snout says SVT instead of Eaton, so it should be off of an 01+ lightning, which had the 10-row IC from the factory. (bidding it hasn't been swapped) This is a good thing, the earlier 9-rows had leaking problems.

-Injectors, maf are missing. I bought my stock lightning maf for $40 & 1 42# injector for $45 if that helps cost estimate. A fuel-pump upgrade will also be needed.

-If you can save on shipping, I'd tell them just to trash the EGR crap & stock air box/rubber piece. You'll want to block EGR off & go with an aftermarket air intake.

-Rotors are flaking, thus need to be stripped. If you're the DYI type, you can pull them out and do it, or if you end up having the blower ported/serviced, they'll do it for $30 or so.

In addition to what swagga mentioned it appears to be missing intercooler pump, throttle cable, lightning alternator and of course you would need custom tune.

The total cost would still be far lower than most supercharger kits sold today and when I have searched I was unable to find anything as far as new kits available for the 2v 5.4's today.

Procharger still offers their P1SC intercooled kit for the 97-03 trucks

But yeah, considerably more spendy than a used Lightning set up

Hmm. Interesting.

OK..... its been a few years but I swear they were not available at the time because I searched vortech, paxton, procharger, and powerdyne. I had found older discontinued kits but none were still in production. I was interested at the time. If I had found one, I would likely have had a different combo today. Maybe it was fate...lol..

Maybe they are making a comeback for the older 2v motors?

Now I have run a vortech on my stang (centrifugal). Roots on my expy (positive displacement). Just need to try turbo now.. :)

More likely to get twin screw though..

The lightning supercharger setup will not work on a 2005 ford expedition because I believe you have the 3v motor and its designed to work with the 2v 5.4's.

You may be able to swap the entire motor from the Harley but you are swapping your 3v motor for an older gen 2v motor. I would see many compatibility issues that would have to be worked out.

I think it would be far easier to buy supercharger kit designed for 3v motor and more practical.
