17LimitedExpy, yes the double horn honk line change does work to get rid of it. One of the first changes I made to my '15 Limited. Anything listed in the original spreadsheet has been tested and does work. So no need to revisit that stuff. Thanks for compiling an updated one tho.

has anyone been able to find the code to enable tire pressure display on the IPC module ?
I tried a few codes from the guy in youtube where he was able to enable the menu on his focus but I haven't seen anyone able to enable the display on Ford Expy.

Which line/code worked on your truck...There are two different codes...see the updateD spreadsheet. 1 on the 2015-2017 tab, and 1 on 2018 tab. I’m trying to confirm I have those codes in the right tabs...thanks for any help.

Unless you have a Platinum (which would have already had the heated steering wheel button displayed) you’ve only enabled the APIM to send the HSW_On command over CAN but your truck doesn’t have anything else necessary for steering wheel heat.
I have a 2017 platinum and I don't see a heated steering wheel option on my screen.

The one on line 23 of this spreadsheet is the one that works. There is a tab of codes that do not work at the bottom of the page:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...OI_ImhTg40SZdlDIrUNPVs5_z8/edit#gid=815852466

In the general forum an interesting question came up. Enabling TPMS as a display gauge on 2017. They linked a video of it being done on a Fusion. I know different modules but interesting.
@LokiWolf worked on that and apparent our systems do not record the actual pressure, it is only recording differential pressure so it can tell you when there is a pressure difference in the tires. and it apparently cannot tell you which tire. you just have to check them all.

Interesting because after oil change/tire rotation at dealer I had TPMS go off on the next cold day. Which was 2 days later. 29°F. All tires were the same pressure - 31 psi.

If I understand it correctly, in FORScan you can set the ideal tire pressure, (assume the factory setting is 35 like the sticker on the door) then the system monitors deviation from the ideal. So if the ideal setting is 35 PSI and your tires are at 31 PSI, that would trigger an alarm likewise if you had one tire at 31 PSI it would trigger the alarm.

Beating dead horse, but here goes. We do not have the module that can take the pressures recorded in the BCM and display it in the left MFD. We are actually missing 2 modules that allow A LOT of the function the 150, Escape, Explorer, and Edge have. Examples are the auto fold Mirrors, PSI display, HVAC on the right MFD, and there are several others. The data exists, but the Modules we have are not capable of interacting with it.

As far as how the TPMS works in our trucks. Andy has it somewhat correctly. Our trucks do know the tire that is low, but have no way of telling us because of the module limitation mentioned above. There are PIM in some software that contains the info. Still trying to find the ones with the live data so I can look at it in my DashCommand.

As far as settings. There is a setting in the BCM I believe for pressure set point. I am currently using my HyperTech programmer to modify it, because I don’t have to pull my laptop out to do it. The set point is the desired pressure, and the TPMS light goes off if any tire goes 10 psi below that. Factory set point I believe is 40. I have mine set at 45, so that I get a warning at 35. I have tested this many times because I had a tire with a small pin nail in it and it leaked under certain conditions. So I was able to test out the 10 psi theory and confirm it. I also have several calibrated psi gauges because of racing back in the day.

Do you have a heated steering wheel? Do you see the icon under the default location which is the climate controls? This was discussing putting the seat and steering wheel controls on the home screen of the radio. You can put the button all you want, but if your steering wheel doesn’t have the function, it won’t work.

+1...our trucks are missing a few key components to make this work: steering wheel with heating element, the Heated Steering Wheel Module (HSWM), the wiring between the steering wheel and HSWM, and then the APIM needs updated (via FORScan) to show/command the Heated Steering Wheel.

The easy part is putting the Heated Steering Wheel icon on the Sync 3 screen and sending the command from the APIM.

What is the engineering mode? What is its use?

I've not explored it too much, but from what I understand it helps those who are tuning their vehicles or want to see some of the vehicle's raw data...hopefully someone else can chime in with their experiences.

This has probably been addressed before but could not find. When using forscan should car be turned off and on accessories or leave car running when using forscan. Thanks!

Follow the steps given when you startup FORScan...it tells you to turn vehicle on (no start)
