Unfortunatly its only in canada right now freeway. You might be able to find it on a few stores sites but no big boxes.

Canadian Expy, go to gotwirez.com and see "find a dealer" section, find the closest one to you.

Got side tracked again, time for maintenance and not play time. I had to replace both upper control arms as both were old and both ball joints had /were failing. Gotta say MOOG parts are awesome, great quality, greasable ball joints and even better price and warrenty. Also, replaced 2 tire rods and both sway bar links. I got a alignment and this shop finally put the specs where they were supposed to be, NO MORE CAMBER whoo hoo! Now I am waiting on a new rad and trans mission cooler lines as both lines have sprung a very small leak and the rad is original so Its just time to go. That and the trans oil lines dont look like they will come out nicely. Damnit more parts.

Just a shot of the drivers side which was the worst.

The front end and handling is completely different but in a good way.

Thanks, I am getting very little steps done these days on the system, only things left are:
- Drill firewall and install gromets for power and ground 0 awg
- wire subs (COMPLETE)
- run speaker wire to the rear passenger door (COMPLETE)
- run power/ground wire to cap from distro block
- run power/ground wire to the 4ch amp(COMPLETE)

then tune it

GETTING CLOSER..............

Took some time out from my install to help a buddy do his. In particular the front stage upper pods. Came out pretty good and sounds wicked.

got a little progress on the expo this weekend. RCAs run through and all the speaker lines run to the amps as well. Man that was a chore.

Spent some time tonight working on the system finally. Got the cap and distro block in amps are wired and speaker wire is run other than 2 doors. Only think left Is power from the front and to finally mount the subs.

Ok got a question for people that have run power from the front to the back in a Gen 1. Where did you run your power wire? Through the firewall, down the fender into the door jamb? Under the firewall following the frame rail? I cant decide where I want to do it and I am doing a few runs of 0awg so I need some room and I want to do it clean ly and I just cant make up my mind.

I ran mine down from the battery along the frame and up through the pass. side door sill and down the side of the truck under the door sill panels. But since I was using 1 4 awg I had plenty of room!

You on the other hand would probably be better off following the frame all the way back!

Yeah I think I might have to remove the inner passenger fender well to get the straight shot to the frame I want. It just seems a littel too close for comfort to the exhaust manifold anyway other than that.

The subs are good an broken in now. They sound awesome and go surprisingly low. I am starting on the front A-pillar pods and dorr pods later this week. I have been waiting on supplies and parts to come in. More to come.

Bringing this back from the dead finally, cut the pillar pods plates yesterday, cutting the door panels tomorrow. Today I will be removing the pocket from the bottom of both front door, which is a pain because they are plastic spot welded in about 16 locations that need to be drilled.........

the left side unit you built...are you putting one on the right side? also do you have a template for just the outer portion? I would be interested in purchasing a copy of the layout...I have different plans for what to put in it.
thanks
