Good Day,
Attached is an image I am trying to look for a part number (the one pointing with the green arrow).
My steering wheel makes a grinding noise while turning and I see small metal pellets on the driver-side floor. Like when a bearing broke.
An image is attached here for reference.
Is it a broken bearing? or is the whole part damaged?

Thanks in advance for any hints or questions.

So it looks like I am referring to the Steering column part number 2L1Z-3C529-GA which is discontinued. Something inside of it has a bearing and that bearing is damaged.

A few photos now that I have removed the steering wheel and column. The second photo shows the ball bearing that is damaged causing the main steering column to make a grinding noise and also making the steering wheel column have room to move around.
