Hellpppp- Center Console Stuck Shut

Hi! My 3 year old put my phone in the center console and closed it. Since you have to push the console in to open it, I am not able to push it in and therefore it is stuck closed! Anyone know how I can fix this? The dealership told me they couldn't get to it for 2 weeks! Thanks!

Are you sure its not locked? Use the key inside the keyfob and try to see if it somehow got locked.

Are you talking about the armrest console lid, the cup holder lid, or the front (phone charger) lid. If it's the armrest console, there is no lock and pressing on the release lever moves two tabs in from the sides--all inside the hard underside of the lid. If it's that one, just bear down on the front of the lid and put release lever in. If it's the front charger lid, I got nothin'.

Arm rest has a lock. Nothing special but keeps it from being opened for the quick smash and grab thief’s.
