The 3V Triton is incredibly dependent on oil pressure. A good clean constant flow of oil is critical for any engine, these seem to be even more sensitive. The VCT oil passages need clean constant flow of oil. The bottom line is you can't hurt them by changing the oil too often. Make sure to stick with 5W20 & use a good non bypass filter (Motorcraft OE one is perfect)
