That’s some good advice, thanks! You‘re right about the difficulty of soldering those wires!

225,000 on an 06 Eddie Bauer did timing chain at 170 phasers everything great truck love it plenty of power 2 inch lowered Springs a little bit of a suspension upgrade big brakes the thing is fantastic it's my highway Cruiser love itAs I've shared in earlier posts, my '03 Expedition is about to hit 200,000 miles. I bought it new in '02 and it's been the best and most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. It's been well maintained mechanically and I'm planning to keep it. I'm cleaning it up cosmetically now and am probably going to invest in new tires and shocks soon. But at some point, one has to wonder what the 2nd Gen's life expectancy is and therefore how much money should I invest in it.
So, I'm curious how many miles have other 2nd Gen owners have racked up on their Expeditions?
