...find a nice beige grille to mount on the outside of the panel.

Wonder if JL Audio would sell you the grille they include with their Stealthbox? I would guess they would be available in case the included one was ever damaged. It should already be colormatched to Expedition interiors too.

That's a great idea!

My only concern with it is if the grille actually attaches to the sub. Most subs have a specific grille for their shape is what i'm finding...

If it doesn't and is only tied to the panel and the sub rests behind it, then it would be perfect.

I'll check out the installation instructions, hopefully it's a seperate grille that mounts on the panel.

Here's a shot during the day of the lights.

They're still blinding if you look at them even in sunlight!

Got the sub and amp installed. Everything fits nice and snug and secure!

I was able to mount the amp so I can make adjustments through the fuel reset door.
