Hello,
I just changed the serp. belt (had cracks length wise in backing). All pullies spun nice and quiet. The plastic one above the oil filter however, has slight play in it when rocking front to back. Is that normal ?
Thanks
David

Make sure the bolt is the correct diameter and not worn. You can also check the bearing with the bolt installed through the center. Should not be able to wiggle it a large amount.

it is only a slight amount and spins quite and free. During some internet searches I have found all metal pulleys but not sure if they are correct application or if you get what is pictured etc. I like what is pictured because it would shed dirt unlike the plastic with fins.
