I was sniffing around a few websites and was looking at throttle bodies...The one I seen was a 75mm that came with a throttle position sensor calibrated to it...what changes should be expected by upgrading from stock to this?

Baker, on a normally aspirated engine, you may gain 1-2 hp, but not much more. Now, if you are forced aspiration, then you can expect to see much more. The intake on our trucks is not really a limiting thing. Ford really did a pretty good job balancing the intake with the motor, with the exhaust. So, if you have opened up the exhaust, chipped the engine (a port and polish would yield better results though), then yes, you might see a bit more of a gain from the bigger throttlebody. But then, you need to also have an aftermarket intake and do a little bit of work on opening up the intake downstream of the throttlebody too.

Thank you Sir!....Got to much time on my hands I guess...Im an easy driver...and look for MPG and then performance...I hooked up this Edge CS tuner and felt guilty for 2 days after stomping on it like I was...LOL

Baker, you want to get some more power yet get better mileage, all for free (yes, FREE!!!!!). You need to have a course and fine file or a grinding stone for in a drill/high speed die grinder. Then, what you do is you remove the throttle body from your truck and remove the 90 degree elbow from your motor. Put this elbow on a work bench (away from the motor). Using the files or the die grinder, you want to take the inside of the elbow and remove all the rough casting surfaces and then if you look at the inside edge of the elbow, you will see where the exhaust gases come in there. This is the limiting part of the intake if there is one. Cut away as much of the material there as you are willing to cut away without going all the way through. You want to remove material in such a way that you make the inside edge as large of a radius as possible (this will help the air move around the elbow and cause a lower restriction, therefore more air can make it into the engine). I would then recommend using a 2-1/2" or 3" flap wheel (60 grit) to work the inside of the elbow to help smooth it out even more. Once done, reinstall and enjoy the free power. Nothing spectacular, but it will help. It is especially beneficial if you have played with the exhaust and intake some.

Walnuts...did you take the cats off....if so what did you do for o2 sensors and codes?

Walnuts/DJ, you are welcome. I did this mod many, many years ago when I was looking at the motor and trying to get some more out of the engine without breaking into the engine.

Walnuts, you sent me a pic of your exhaust...what did you do with the cats and 02 sensors? any codes?
