I'll be replacing the cables next.
I'm still really curious about why I lost power to all of the power outlets except the one by the liftgate. Pain at the same time the air conditioning stopped working. The compressor is good it's fully charged none of the fuses are blown and I've also checked that power is getting to the fuses and through them

Why not prove the cables need replacing first?

How can you bypass cables teach? Is their a test of sorts? An ohmmeter test maybe. Never had an internal cable issue.
