lighting ones? leak? huh?

Ford svt lighting. Look at this link. You basically want the clear diamond. Alot of those ebay lights leak and have condensation on them. Some guys are luck not to have that happend to them. But in reality look at the price and look at what your getting. Basically two heads and two corners for dirt cheap.

My buddy has lights from late model and has not have one problem.

If its between those two I would stick with the ebay ones. The summit ones have led turn signals and you wont be able to see that during the day. They are very small.

pretty expensive though

same ones I have... look on ebay for R8 style headlights... and the LED turns are actually as bright as stock ones during the day and really bright during the night.. only problem with these are the LEDs in the headlights die fairly quickly... in 1.5 years I have 2 dead on each side.... but otherwise they look and function good

I'd stay away from LEDs for the reason Walnuts said, plus I think they look a bit too ricey on an offroad-style truck for my taste.

I do have some oem-style ebay replacements on my truck now and have no issues. I've had them for about 5 years, too. I think they are Eagle or Eaglelites brand...not 100% sure. I think they were only about $60 for the pair and even came with bulbs.

I cannot see a cheap generec led lights (not 3rd gen leds) being visible during the day. Heck our police cars that have the 1st gen led bars are being taken off the road bc you cant see them during the day. These leds are no where near as powerful as a 1st gen led bulb either.

Btw Ive also in person seen some f150's with led swap outs in the rear and you really cant see them. You see red but hardly. Now if you want bright then the hellas tails are the way to go, those Ive seen and they look like Cadi lights. But they are expensive.

Gotchya, good to know.

I'll probably try to find some smoked lenses with HID's then. If not I'll just do a conversion and get clear corners.
