Looking into putting some on my 08 Limited (wife likes to crack the windows when raining)
Need advise. For those that have them, what style are you using ?
In-channel ones or the stick-ons?
Whats a good brand?
Pros / cons....?
I would like the sleekest, least noticable ones. My Expy is black and windows are tinted so hopefully they wont stand out too much

Thanks,
Matt

I have the "in-channels". Had a slight problem witht the auto up on the driver's door for a bout 1 week. Once the channel "expanded" the window had no issues.

I've had in channel visors on my 1st gen for 5 years with zero problems. I trimmed about 6" off the lower section because it was blocking my view of the mirror on the pass side.

I wonder why you guys have so many issues with the in channel guards....I have had mine for over a year and no problem...they had the thin grey adhesive tape and provided alcohol wipes...and I even put mine on in February and they have worked flawlessly.....maybe because I said a prayer after I got them in....LMAO

I don't have the visors installed in my truck, so I can not comment on the longevity of the different styles and what may be better.

Now for the con that I am aware of (I'm sure others can comment more on this) is that installing the visors changes the way the air flows over the truck and results in a slight loss of mileage in the truck. We are only talking about 0.2 MPG or so. But, if you are worried about mileage, then these are not a good choice.

My buddy had the in channels on his truck and they flew off when he had his windows cranked. I had the over the windows type on my police car and till tis day I don't know which stretch of highway its laying on.

Sol, You doing a 125mph again??? better watch out DJ will get you for fleeing and littering...LMAO
you guys must be doing something wrong...have had no problems with mine...they provided two sided tape, I cleaned the channel with alcohol wipes, let it dry and they have been there...50 or more car washes and blowers later....they are still there.....
