You know what's amazing, that in 2019, 116 years after Ford's and most other makes hit the roads with their crude oiling systems, with open valve areas getting splashed as you go, and other messy ways to lubricate, and maintain, we've come full circle. Granted it's just a container that catches the sludge and backwash, and needs to be cleaned out at oil changes. Maybe with turbo advancement, and science, they'll figure out how to build a twin turbo system, that's as clean as can be, with little to no runoff. But for now we use or don't use a catch can. It's like 1950's all over, with oil filter, no oil filter, just a shelf inside the oil pan to catch sludge. Do you guys know if any car or big truck firms install a can from factory?
