How much more light did they add to your bumper bar? I got my bumper bar installed but waiting on the tapered washers to bring it level. Points down a little to much.

Resurrecting this thread. Were there any issues drilling through the front bumper cover to install the brackets for the light bar? Are there structural parts behind the bumper cover in that area that I should be concerned about drilling through?
Nice job, I love the look of it - does anyone have any ideas for the same thing but on a 3rd gen (2017) expy my dad says no but I'm obviously going to put one since its my vehicle I just cant make up my mind for if I want to do a license plate mount one (22" like I had on my jeep), one behind the grille, or a slim light bar off of the roof racks. Any comments would be appreciated thanks
Niiicceeee , can you add a picture of where you installed your switch?Installed a 42" lightbar in front of the grill. So far pretty happy about the result.
If interested, I will share more details.

I got mine from F-150 LEDs and it’s amazing. Also has a wireless module and strobe functionality. It’s pricey, but worth every penny. Took about an hour to install and wires up to battery.
It’s ignorantly bright, can be operated from outside the vehicle with remote, and the curve is perfect for the bumper. I also reverse mounted the brackets to make it tamper / theft proof and look better after install. Lights up the road in front over a football field length and very thin, doesn’t go past the lowest vent in grill.

Awesome set up. Do you have the info on the light bar? I’ve been wanting to do this same thing. Any problems with blocking radiator? I only tow a few times a year so I’d think it wouldn’t be too big of a deal.
On my 2007 I cut out some of lower bumper lines and welded up some brackets. With the grill off there is a lot of working room. I ran a relay to a 3 way switch drilled into the dash between the lower cig lighter and aux plug. The switch was round so it almost looks stock. Options were On, off, or connected to high beam. Most of the time I left it connected to the high beam so I could actually use it on the road and not fumble to turn it off. Even that smaller size and no name brand was amazing on and off road. I plan on doing the same thing on my 2020 but haven’t decided where to mount it as I don’t want to block hd tow radiator. But for the one time a year I tow maybe it doesn’t matter much.
