2022 Expedition - Schedule for production ?

As of this morning it’s in final prep. Estimated delivery last I heard was 4/29. Will call the dealer this afternoon to see if they got it.

This is why I wound up ordering a new one. I looked at the 2021 Limited's on lots here with about 15,000 miles and on average they are charging full sticker price plus about $5k.

For better or worse, finally some movement and/or an actual update. MKTG told me just now that they expect the chips to be installed between 4/23 and 4/29, so basically next week. With the way things are going with shipping, I'm doubting that the ETA to dealer is going to be very encouraging, but at least it feels like something could happen soon.
For those with PCO experience, how does that work? Is there a place that I can see my PCO? The marketing rep told me that I have a PCO, but she could not see any details of the offer. Thanks for any information!

Those are the dates mine have said for start and finish this whole time. Originally Marketing told me those were my ship and arrival date. My sales manager told me today that those are actually the start and end date they expect to be done with installing the chip, and then once that’s done, they will have a better idea on delivery ETA. I also saw that no builds have been scheduled for next week, which would make since if they are going to start bringing the ones back from offsite to complete.

I’m sitting at 3 weeks since my build started. I’m assuming it’s sitting offsite waiting for parts. Maybe someday…

It took me a month to get my VIN. Best to sit tight and be ready for the long haul.

I ordered on 2/15 and still no VIN. Ford nor the dealership has any idea how long it will be! 9 weeks of checking my email anxiously every morning

You should have received an email from Ford as soon as the order was input in the system.

I ordered approximately 5 weeks ago. I set my expectations to zero which I figure will make it easier to pass the time. I'm sinking my teeth into a new summer pleasure ride and modding to keep me satisfied until then!
I ordered March 5th and haven't heard a thing yet. I called Marketing last week just to confirm, and still no VIN. Welcome to the waiting game.
I've heard a few times on here that Ford is not necessarily sending confirmation emails or even build scheduled emails any more due to the ongoing supply chain issues. I never got a confirmation email, but Marketing confirmed my order number is in the system, so I know it went through.

similar here. Ordered early Nov. Got confirmation email. No VIN. Have not bothered calling as well. ordered a mustang Mach 1 in september which is got here in Feb, so I can have fun. My old Infiniti truck had better not give up the ghost while waiting on the Expy!

Bill, I did get the confirmation email, but no VIN number yet. Maybe Thursday will be my lucky day. I ordered a Platinum and I haven't seen many come off the line yet, so who knows, maybe August.

Figure you should be scheduled in the next two weeks or so. Typically emails with that information come out on Thursdays or Fridays
