Any platinums scheduled? My dealer told me he didn’t think Platinums were scheduled today but he also said that was due to MCS seats, which we removed from my order.

That's because they are still producing vehicles on the line, and producing those completely and shipping them out. They are just leaving the ones in the offsite lots so they can keep saying they are shortages. Why would you keep producing more, if you have ones sitting offsite for months at a time. Makes absolutely no sense, but then again, what does in this country these days.
I agree! Mine has been sitting for over a month with no update. I don't understand why they keep scheduling when some of us have been waiting this long!

I have been reading these posts for some time. I gotta tell ya that what is happening not only with late delivery or no delivery, coupled with no parts, added to the projected month long lock down in China, Ford dealers playing with the price, and perhaps more importantly Ford is hemorrhaging money and starting to lay off employees. I am going to look much harder at other products as I don't see Ford getting it's act together for a few years.

I am scheduled for production for the week of 6/13. For reference I ordered a Limited 4x4 302a w/ the 15.5" screen. I am certainly banking on that date shifting due to supply issues, but in the rare chance it is built that week what would be the estimated delivery to the Dallas area? If built by 6/20 (w/ a week build time) would it theoretically arrive before July if there aren't actually any delays?

I did drive by another Ford dealer on the way to work today. Saw a Limited MAX sitting on the lot.

I called, and it was a cancelled customer order. But MAX is too long for our garage.

I just called the dealers I have deposits with on DEALER ORDERED vehicles: My customer ordered max plat will probably never see the light of day:

1. Max Limited 4x4: 301A, 12in screen, 2nd row bench -- Order Conf 1/8/22; Production 4/4/22.... Still in production status, no further info on why it is delayed (assume it is a chip hold)

2. Max Limited 4x4: 302A, 15in screen, 2nd row bench -- Order Conf 1/8/22; Production 4/10/22; Built 4/11/22 (ONE DAY!) .... This one shipped and has ARRIVED to town awaiting intake from the dealer.

I am not sure how #2 escaped the production delay when #1 which went into production a week earlier is held up.

Right, and don't forget, those of use that ordered vehicles first, got a lower prices then the vehicles being produced now. All these people that are canceling their orders, is what Ford wants. Because then when they get on the lots eventually, the can charge the higher price for them. They are pretty much punishing those of use who ordered right away and got the lowest price. They want us to cancel, and find another vehicle on the lot. Then we have to also pay the current price for the one on the lot. This is a game Ford is playing, to get more bang for their buck at this point. 5 weeks of sitting in a lot waiting on a "Micro Chip", when the modules currently installed in my truck, match all the ones that are being delivered to the dealerships that have the same then in them as mine. Especially when the day mine came off the line, a person on Blue Oval who works on the line at KTP said that the Expeditions coming off the line had all the chips in them, and were waiting on wiper motors. Now 5 weeks later, its still on a 'Micro Chip Hole". I call BS.

I just wish it let you look at a larger radius!
Pro tip. If you choose say a 100 mile radius you can look up in the address bar of your browser and look for the “100”. Change this number to whatever radius you want and hit enter. The max I have been able to do is 500 miles but it’s been a while since I tried.

To many of us here, this is frustrating, dealer order, a month later than our orders, produced about a month later than ours and shipped (Fully loaded SPP Limited max with Tow.):

Here's something interesting...

I ordered a Platinum Max (without RSE) in mid-January. As-of now it's still unscheduled.

Last week I went into the dealer to check into dropping the MCS and/or switching to a Limited Max SPP. He suggested that I don't make any changes to the Platinum order and instead make a new order for a Limited SPP. The dealer showed me in the order system that he set the priority to 99 for all his stock expeditions to try and get my Platinum through.

Today I received a production date of 6/20 for the Limited SPP. So that's only four business days to go from ordered to scheduled for the Limited. Still nothing on the Platinum.

Meanwhile, my completed Navigator is still stuck in Louisville.

Cyberdman over at Blue Oval confirmed it was completed and released to carrier 3/30/22. Grrrrr

My Platinum Max is in production now. I ordered 12/13. According to the sticker nothing has been deleted. Dealer says delivery week of May 2nd.

I question how much the other manufacturer's are in the same boat. I am the furthest thing from a Ford loyalist (this is actually my first one lol) but I don't see much inventory on Toyota or GM lots either. I talked to 2 GM dealers and they wouldn't even take an order for me, they just wanted me to wait till I get something close to what I want.

Jeep/Ram seems to have a TON of inventory near me.... I wonder what their secret is. There isn't a chance in hell I'd buy a Wagoneer but I've been looking at the Rams a lot.

Looks like people are getting emails for June production. I just got one also, and order 4/1. Question, my wife now wants the tow package. Do you think if I tell the dealer to add it, it will affect the production date?
Oh man, I ordered 3/5, but no email from Ford yet. Got my fingers crossed! My understanding is that you can no longer modify your order at all.

I have a Limited SPP on order since February 4th and still unscheduled. Ford's order pickup process is down right trash apparently. What options did you order? wondering if certain features not technically on constraint but doesn't get to the top of the list for scheduling like order dates should.

I wonder if yours hasn't been picked-up due to dealer allocation?

It’s the same thing down here in central Texas

Just to give some stats on my order, order placed 11/15 for Limited Max SPP, Max Tow, Sync 4a, eLSD, stone blue. Originally scheduled for production week of 2/14, went into production 3/30 where it still sits. Seeing these dealer orders made hitting lots when they went into production after mine is really frustrating. With two boys and two Great Danes, our 2018 Explorer doesn’t fit us all anymore if we are going to visit family for a weekend or going to my family’s camp. Was hoping to have it for Memorial Day weekend, but that clearly isn't going to happen at this point. The waiting game continues.
