My first mod.

I just wanted brag about my first mod. Nothing big but I have officially started. I just insatlled Xentec's HID kit for my 05 EB. It makes a world of difference. I bought them off ebay for $35 with free shipping.

Hey Bhsoulja, did yours come with double sided sticky tape to hold the balast boxes. If so, does it work?. Thats what i got with mine and the boxes fell off in less than a day. The lights still work but i have to come up with a different way of mounting the boxes. I was thinking about going to a body shop supply place and getting some real double sided cusion tape that they use for vehicle emblems. Just curious what you thought.

try self tapping metal screws. mine are attached to the vertical beams behind the headlights. here is a link that has some pics

i just used good zipties...who knew? unless you can make your own bracket...most people are using zipties...holds them in place great and i even used them on my fogs...

search HID placement...i think thats what i titled it...and it should come up...other people showed me where they put there ballast and they used good old ZIPTIES...i think i used 15cm...zipped them tight and cut off excess...

my fogs are next to my radiator and my head lights are right next to them on the frame right behind the lights...

I haven't done my fogs yet. I have the kit just not the time. That beam behind the headlights is where it put that cheap sticky tape. I'm not a big fan of zip ties except for electrical wires. I will figure out somthing more permanent.

cant go wrong with zipties...i put it between the plugs, around the ballast, to what ever im strapping it to...never moves...rain, snow, bumps, ditches...they're holding good...

i had these 3" off road lights with strobes and a blue led halo ring. they were cool. and the strobe had a ballast that needed to be placed somewhere. i just zip tied it. stayed on till i broke the switch. and its not an easy switch to find. o well. to many wires for them too.
