We just purchased a 2024 Expedition Max Stealth package and went to do the same setup this dealership has done. I called and they said it was just a spacer to level. Anyone else running this tire size setup and what would you recommend to achieve this setup? I’m new to the forum and thank you for your help and advice.

No longer going this route! Will post pics soon once I have the tires figured out. But I’m going same rims the Fuel Flux in gloss black but instead of 22” in the photo we are going 20”. Just debating between 285/55/20 or 285/60/20 Falken Wildpeak AT4’s. Don’t want to do any lift/level just yet since it only has 70 miles on the odo.

I didnt spend too much time with the stock tires but have 12k miles on the toyos now and tire noise is not an issue at all.
What's your tire pressure on those? I just swapped from the Toyo HTd's to Toyo R/T, 33/12.5R20 and the ride quality is much worse and they're incredibly noisy. Running Fuel Forged wheels so I'm not sure if that's it.

Looks amazing though! I'm just considering swapping to AT3s.

Went down the PSI road. Had mine to 50 per forums and charts and they were all wrong. Always run the door pressure. Been running 32 for the past 20k miles awesome perfect wear and smooth ride. You will definitely notice changes of 5 psi. I am running Open Country AT3 . Quiet and smooth and great wear. They will be nosier then stock but not much.

Thank you all for helping with making my decision!

Went with Fuel Vector 20x9 +1
W 35x12 Toyo ATS
Replaced shocks and struts and cross arms
Yes a fair amount of trimming ~ there is no room left in the wheel well!

Stands at 6’10”

2022 Timberline with I believe a 3/2 lift running 305/55r20 Nitto on KMC rims. Want to change to Tremor (F150) or Raptor wheels and run 315/70r17 or 18" equivalent.

Not to be a humbug but bumper bars on modern vehicles are a safety issue. First they bolt they bolt to the frame so you loose all the built in crumple crash protection. Second they can impact the air bag deployment as even though g forces factor in to deployment sensors are triggered by impacts. Just a FYI to each his own.

New around here, been reading for years but just joined after I did the first upgrade to mine. Still the family car so couldn’t go crazy (yet).

2021 XLT
Readylift 3/2
33” Nitto Recon Grapplers (275/60/R20)

Look forward to many upgrades to come
Thoss are the exact wheels I got to replace my Stealth 22's. Have not installed them yet. Did you need the lift for those Nitto tires?

Does anyone know if this forum allows you to post a poll? I looked, but didn't find anything.

I'd be curious, how many people on here have changed wheel sizes from something larger to 18" wheels and if they did it for aesthetics or for gravel or off road performance. Just from pouring over the thread it appears most people have gone to 18's for one reason or another.

Went 17 as I could not find the correct tire for stock to fit my needs and 18 rims typically are hard to find the correct offset. My pet peeve is poking tires.

Curious on how these end up. Was looking at these as well for my Timberline.
Realized I never responded or posted up pics of the Timberline after we installed the wheels and tires, my bad, only 3 years late!

I know it's old already compared to most of these recent posts, but I bought it new back before Covid and decided to keep it for a while yet so I just put a new set of tires on it and thought I would share.

Nothing too crazy, I prefer stock+ as opposed to after-market, poke, etc.

2019 Limited Max
3/2 Ready Lift
F150 Takeoffs
BFG KO3 275/70/18

Thanks to GixxerJasen for the guidance on tire size.

Assuming you had the 22" for stock on your limited? Did you try to do anything to recalibrate your speedo, or you just live with the difference?

From stock 285/45R22 to 275/70R18 ends up with only a 3.4% difference in circumference. Considering that most speedos are a little optimistic from the factory, it's not that bad. On our Christmas trip it only seemed to be 1-2mph difference compared to my Garmin gps. Wasn't worth worrying about to me.
