Assuming you had the 22" for stock on your limited? Did you try to do anything to recalibrate your speedo, or you just live with the difference?

I did have the 22's as stock and don't worry about the mph difference. I have a dashcam with a gps based speedo on it so I can confirm it is only about a 2mph difference when you get up around 75.

Looking for some wisdom from the group. I've been all through this thread and this is my first time posting...

I have a 2019 MAX XLT. Just had the Expy Bilstiens (1.6 front/1.5 rear) installed. I have the stock 20" wheels, which I believe are a 44 offset based on all I've read.

What is the biggest tire I can put on the stock 20's without spacers?

What is the biggest 17 or 18 tire that will go on an aftermarket wheel with a 12 to 18 offset?

I'd like too get a flush look and the biggest tire that will go. I like the Raptor 17's, but have heard that there can be caliper clearance issues.

Anyway, any and all advice and recommendations would be most appreciated. If you have a similar setup it would be great to see a pic or two.

Thanks for reading!

Finally!! Got my 20" mounted with Michelin Defender LTX tires today. As I was still deciding if I might want 18" or not some day, I think I'll be good with these. Not planning any major offroad adventures so these should work well. I really like the look of the extra 1" of sidewall too. I still want some Bilsteins and do a level front lift.

Before with 22", after with 20" and Ford order options of the wheel I have since the late day sun made for a so so picture. Don't think my wife likes the all black wheels. She said, "it looks even blacker now and gangster." LOL, I said then think of it as a Gov't vehicle. Still deciding it I want to black everything out and change lug nuts to black too.

If anyone happens to read this and is interested in my stock 22" black - machined wheels, they are for sale.

Might want to list those on some F150 forums also. I had mine for a long while till a guy with an F150 bought them.

No ‘problem’ per se, but not direct bolt on either. Took full day with two people with experience and all the tools. Worst part is cutting the factory bumper cover as there are no instructions for same nor a pattern.
I have XLT and no sensors or cameras, though bumper instructions delineate instructions/allowances for both…

I did, but like this forum, have to jump through hoops for months before you can post for sale items on them.

2021 Limited with Rough Country lift kit ( RC monotube struts). 20x9 Fuel Offroad Krank, BFG T/A KO3 285/60/20.

I love the look, but not totally happy with the ride. I'm new to lifted vehicles so I wasn't sure what to expect. My assumption was that ditching the stock 22"s and going to a 20" with more sidewall was going to do a lot to cushion. I guess the added stiffness from the lift sort of cancel each other out. I'm wondering if I should upgrade the struts to the Bilsteins or something else and if that will actually help.

Cheers!

It's pretty much been the general consensus that the stock N3 shocks that come with the kit are very harsh and not much can be done about that. An upgrade to Bilsteins or other shocks have been noted to improve a lot on the ride quality. The biggest value of the kit is the sourcing of the UCA's (which are nice being forged AL) and the rear suspension links to center the wheels.

I appreciate the feedback.

Very nice! I'm debating yet on the Bilsteins. I'd like to drive one that has them set up like yours before I took the plunge.
