Went to Sedona, AZ for the first time with my family of four and a family friend in their custom extended Jeep JKU. We got to hit up Broken Arrow, Soldier Pass to Devil's Kitchen Sinkhole, and Dry Creek Trail to Devil's Bridge. I was able to capture some video...

You do have to have front and rear matching. What's your current ratio? What do you not like about it? What's your goal and intended future use of the Expedition?
I have the 3.73 (3L73 Limited Slip) which is very good for towing, acceleration, and over-sized tires (34").
The tongue weight will send you over your rated payload. At 936 (Dry, factory hitch weight), add 40 lb propane + 50 lb battery + cargo + 200+ lb water if the fresh tank is at the front of the trailer, and you will easily exceed the 1400-ish lb of payload of the expedition.
We tow our 2018...
A bit pricey at $2k+ per axle, but these are very nice.

I've tried Bilstein 6112 and Rancho adjustables. Ranchos surprisingly worked better, but didn't last more than 1.5-2 years after some...
Front feels great! On the street @ full stiff, handles much better, but had to lower tire pressures.
Towing felt great too.
Haven't had a chance to off-road too hard with it. Just ordered the rears, but there's an 18 week turnaround time on those.
You can get a set of Ford Raptor wheels for about $400 (+/-) to use as your off-road wheels. Many of them look pretty good too.
I have stock 20's and Raptor 17's for off-roading after I cracked a set of aftermarket 20's while stupidly off-roading with them. :(
Parts catalogs don't appear to differentiate between EL and standard length. I would think the GAWR would be the same, but you may have more payload capacity on the non-EL due to the lower relative weight vs. the EL...
WEB DIAGNOSIS REQUESTED:
My 2017, is making a high-pitched noise under boost that's difficult to describe in words... sort of a screeching / squealing / high-pitched farting sound. This happens only under medium- to high- boost / throttle application and gets better when the engine is warm. The...
Has anybody tried ICON's on their 3rd gen? I was pleased to learn that they offer units for 2014+ Expeditions. I searched this forum but I see mostly 4th gens using them.
I'm getting tired of the bounce from the undersprung / underdamped Bilstein 6112's that I have, so i'm stepping up to the...
Would anybody happen to know the stock spring rates on the 2017 EL (or any 3rd gen, for that matter)?
I've got the Bilstein 6112's up front and find it to be too soft with 500 lb/in springs. Nice for off-roading and highway. Not great for towing. I'm thinking about either
