Maybe that's the same issue I'm having.Thnx, looks like the 304a is what is slowing mine down.
Same here. Ordered mine 11/23, was scheduled to be built 3/16 then hit chip hold. Finally built as of 6/5 and now have been running into shipping delays. Was supposed to be here 3 days ago with no update. Have been getting really irritated about all the delays just watching my trade value go down each mile I put on it.Maybe that's the same issue I'm having.
Is the ford tracking showing where the rail car is going or is there another way to track the shipping?Shipping update. My Expy was loaded on a rail car on Jul 01 in Shelbyville, Ky. Since then it has been down to Atlanta Ga (7/3), back up to Georgetown Ky (7/7 AM), Camdon Oh (7/7 PM), and is currently in Oakwood Mi (7/8 AM) (just outside Detroit). I figure by the time my vehicle gets to Colorado Springs it will have seen more of the country than I have - and I've driven from Colorado Springs to both ends of the country.
Neither the Ford tracking nor ordertrack.app show anything beyond that it has 'shipped', not even a shipping date. ordertrack.app shows transport by Convoy, which would be the last leg of the trip from Denver down to Colorado Springs. I got the rail car info from the dealership. Ford Customer Service (don't know the number) could also give you the rail info.Is the ford tracking showing where the rail car is going or is there another way to track the shipping?
At least yours shows shipped. I just looked at the website you mentioned, my last email from ford told me to expect delivery between 7/6-7/12, but the order track shows I’m awaiting shipment. What’s even more discouraging is that it’s been awaiting shipment for 24 days, but the longest wait is like 75 days…Neither the Ford tracking nor ordertrack.app show anything beyond that it has 'shipped', not even a shipping date. ordertrack.app shows transport by Convoy, which would be the last leg of the trip from Denver down to Colorado Springs. I'm using the Norfolk Southern (NS) number - 800-635-5768, option 2 (intermodal), option 2 (tracking), then enter the rail car alpha characters - mine are CTTX so I enter 2889, pound sign, enter the numeric portion, pound sign, then listen. You have to listen carefully to hear if the message mentions a city. You can repeat the message using option 1. Sometimes you get a city, others you get the name of a scanner. For example, I've gotten cities like Camden OH, Oakwood MI, etc. Others I've gotten Ludlow Scanner KY, Party RD Scanner, MI, Ludlow I found on the map, the other one I did not. I downloaded the Norfolk Southern system map (http://www.nscorp.com/content/dam/nscorp/maps/2016-system-map-print.pdf) to see where the rail car is and the rail line path. I start by using google to find the city so I can see what other larger cities are around it. Then, find that location on the NS rail map. I call in 2 - 4 times a day to see if it is moving and the last scanning site it passed. My current delivery date range is 18-25 Jul. I have a trip planned that week and am hoping to get it before then so I can drive it on that trip. Rail car left Detroit, MI last night and is finally heading west.
@ktreem check with your dealership or Ford Customer Relations to see if they have more info about your order/car.At least yours shows shipped.
