Has anyone confirmed if the 2025 chassis upgrades yielded more protection for the small overlap crash tests? Hoping there are better IIHS results this time around…

ignore I figured it out.Can you share a link, I can't see it, or is it via dealers only?
Since Kentucky Truck Plant won't start building 2025 Expeditions until January (?), I doubt that IIHS would have any of the new ones to test. Ford may have sent some pre-production samples for testing, but I hope that IIHS doesn't post safety ratings on new vehicles until they test production models.Has anyone confirmed if the 2025 chassis upgrades yielded more protection for the small overlap crash tests? The tailgate is definitely a part of improving body strength. The rear suspension changes don’t bump towing capacity much 100-200 lbs but it should help with better sprung weight control ie more confident handling with trailer in tow. Current setup has a well known rear wag and wobbly feel when your trailer is shoving you around which is pretty typical of non solid rear axle suspensionSo i was looking into ordering a 2024 and now im not sure.. The 2025 apparently is supposed to have better towing capacities, i wonder how it does on payload. I seen some 2024 that hit upper 1800s on payloads.
Build your own doesnt appear to have any sort of max tow package available. Wonder if its just included in all of them now by default? It was hard to find 2024 that didnt have that out by me, they all had sun roofs though which i didnt want...
Now I have quite the dilemma.. I dont like to order first year cars or first year after re-vamps.. Do I just hold out for 2026 now or jump on a 24 before its too late...
EDIT: Maybe im blind. It looks liek the Heavy Duty trailer package is there and its inlcuded by default![]()
Load E tires and higher pressure made the rear much more stable for me.Current setup has a well known rear wag and wobbly feel when your trailer is shoving you around which is pretty typical of non solid rear axle suspension
my25 has 2 engine output instead of 3 from my24. The base engine is the 400hp tune, which was my24 platinum output. The ho eco is the optional engine that is available on tremor, plat w/ spp, or plat w/ ultimate.Anyone have detail on the 2025 SPP Package, comparing it to the Stealth Appearance package, looks like for $3k you get:
-Drivers Pkg ($2,810 option package)
-Red calipers
-Sound enhancer with automatic noise cancelling (ANC)
-High Performance Engine
-High Flow Exhaust
Anyone know what the "High Performance Engine" and "High Flow Exhaust" is in detail. I thought the platinum already has the HO 440HP engine?
I was looking at 2024 SPP package and requried CDD, ELSD and HD Tow, looks like HD tow and ELSD is std on platinum now and if the 440HP engine is the same rationale to getting SPP is really cosmetics. CDD can be added via the Drivers Pkg.
Base platinum no, but yes with the SPP and Ultimate pkgs.I don’t think base platinum has the 440hp….only the SPP and Tremor. I could be wrong.
