This is probably a long shot but any chance someone has pics of an expy with 3M Crystalline CR50 50% tint on all the side/back windows and/or CR90 on the windscreen?

thank you!

I don’t have it on my expy but we do on our Grand Cherokee. 40 all around including sunroof. I had 70 on the windshield but had to replace the windshield and didn’t re-do it.

Be careful on the doors because the Jeep has laminated glass on the front doors (don’t remember if the expy does) and sometimes they look purple on cloudy days. Not what you want when spending that kind of money.

My opinion get some other good ceramic tint and save the money on the crystalline. I went with another one as my tint guy was out of 3m when I brought the expy in and I don’t notice a difference. Besides it was loads cheaper.

3M Crystalline is a quality product, but it does look purplish at times. This is a good example:

I have FormulaOne Pinnacle (Llumar) on my Expedition and have been very happy with it. Heat rejection is excellent and it looks like the car in the background (w/ ceramic) vs the car in the foreground (w/ Crystalline).

Thanks for the replies, I didn’t realize it can look purple. I was looking at Crystalline as I need maximum heat rejection while staying within the 50% legal limit in UAE for the next year before I take it to Papua New Guinea where there’s no rules.

I’ve had Llumar on two previous cars but much darker, including 70% and even 20-5% on the windscreen.

as you can see, it will be a big difference for me “only” having 50% all around and 90% on the windscreen.

If you can get Llumar there, they do make a 50% in the Pinnacle series and in the step-up Stratos series as well.

I have a similar tint on mine with 75% on the side windows and 25% on the rear, also have 75% on the visor strip. The heat reduction is noticeable especially if you combine with a front sun shade. With that set-up, I can see from the front glass right through to the rear glass and from the rear to the
front.

I did a lot of research before I decided as I wanted no discoloration, really wanted heat rejection and lots of UV protection. I went XPEL, a bit pricy but well worth the money.
